An ex girlfriend of mine lived in tabb and everynow and then i would stay over and we heard stuff moving around above her room. One night in particular it was getting louder and louder so i said out loud 'shut up already' and it got so loud we had to cover our ears. then it randomly stopped.

Kristen, I was with that paranormal investigation group! I still have the "Come forward" EVP recording on my laptop. Did you also hear the woman screaming on the EVP from the cemetery? That one is really scary.

I dont remember where the campus is that my story happend at but here it is. Several years ago a young gurl died in her dorm room. The autopsy show no reasons as to why she died it was just a freak accident. Two days later on her door a demons face could be seen in the grain of the wood. The school replaced the door but every time they did the demons face returned. Eventually the school replaced the door with a steel one and the demon was never seen again. The campus still has the two doors locked away in their basement.

Anybody remember haunted military housing in Norfolk / Virginia Beach area of Virginia ?? Robert Hall or Robinhood apartments? This is a true story and military wives complained so much about activity in these apartments that the buildings were eventually torn down.I have googled everything I can think of and can't find a thing about it. My mom used to talk about these apartments back in the 70's and years later, my friends dad brought this subject up at dinner. This guy was straight-faced /high ranking military and not the jokey kind. He actually took some of the calls from the frightened military wives back when this happened.

My family and I visited Sailor's Creek, coincidentally on the exact day and time of the battle, but 100 years later. We definitely felt and heard the spirits of soldiers, heard snuffling of horses and the clink of metal equipment. None of us were looking to hear or feel anything, nor are we pre-disposed to looking for, seeing or hearing ghosts. We were simply doing a tour of the region, when the 100th anniversary of the Civil War was being marked. It was a long time ago, but we never forgot our visit to Sailor's Creek, and still talk about it.

I graduated from Longwood, the school that Tabb is a dorm at. I never heard such a story, tho there were many others. I, myself, experienced several hauntings in North Cunningham and Wheeler when I lived in them. I never experienced anything in Tabb even tho I visited friends there. Perhaps it only occurs to people who reside in Tabb.

From Hampton Roads just take 460 West - go towards Petersburg and then continue on towards Blackstone. Then continue on towards Crewe. Take the exit towards Farmville and take the first Farmville exit off of 460 - this will take you straight into downtown Farmville. When you get to Main St., take a left and then a right at the next light - that will put you on High St. From there you will see Longwood University along your left and you can find Appomattox Street just off of High Street at the next stop light that turns to the right. Good luck and have fun!

Sailor's Creek (aka Sayler's Creek) is a large field where the deciding battle of the Civil War was fought in Amelia County bordering Prince Edward County.. It is because of the losses here that caused Lee's retreat and surrender to Appomattox. There are yearly Civil War re-enactments here, and there is a small white house right on the main road that was used as a field hospital. Through the years many stories of the house being haunted have been passed on and a particular ghostly apparition in a Union uniform can sometimes be seen at the cannons out back at night.
