Rita Barron, do you think that God allows reincarnation? I wonder if I was ever reincarnated. Because, sometimes I feel like I’ve been to a place before, but I just dismiss those feelings. And if I was reincarnated then how come I can’t remember any of my past lives. I hope when I die God will allow me to be reincarnated.

Hi I live in Mission Tx and have visited the Alamo many times. But on this one specific visit as I entered the Alamo I felt a vibe. Just looking around gave me goosebumps. Especially in the room that contains and happens to be the place were many people died. I noticed that there were writing on the walls. But I also felt as if someone or something was watching me. I never really saw a ghost of a soldier or anything but I still had the same feeling. For those of you who do not believe in ghost that is your opinion. But why critize the people that do believe? Well thats my story.

In answer to your question, Tiff, I can’t say for sure, because only God knows the answer to that. And I am no expert. I just know what has happened to me all my life.
I can only say what I experienced as a child and throughout my life. The bible says that in the end, it will all be revealed. Let’s put it this way, to me, it is the only thing that makes sense. I really believe we will know when we see the Lord in Heaven. I believe that He will reveal it to us. All of our questions will be probably be answered. Yours Truly,
Rita Barron

Thank you P your right the alamo was transpoted with what was left and spirits do not pack up and go aswell the ghost that person probably had a conversation with was prob a homeless person from the Sam Shelter around the corner so there are no ghost and theres no basement in the Alamo. But they were still entertaining comments

It’s real. I live in TX (granted, I live in Dallas, but I have been to the Alamo too many times to count). Of those times, there’s only one time something has happened.
The incident occured the last time I was in San Antonio. I was in town for the Aggie v. Penn State game, and it was around Christmas time, so the place had Christmas lights all aournd the riverwalk and the Alamo. It was nighttime and before me and my now husband were to hit up the riverwalk, we decided to go to the Alamo.
So we get into the Alamo and it’s all dark and surprisingly there’s very few people there. My now husband was reading all the information that they have posted out in the plaza area, while I trekked over to the room with all the flags.
There was only one other person in there leaning on the ground, hat off and pressed on his chest, and appeared to be praying. Being that he is oddly dressed and I have no tact, I stared at him like an idiot trying to figure out why he was dressed like that. He had the old western getup on. He noticed me and stood up and bowed to me saying “Howdy Ma’am.” I figured he was a tourguide or reinactor or something along those lines, so I mustered up a sarcastic “Howdy” back at him. He laughed at me, shook his head, and put his hat back on. And that’s when he walked off…and right through a wall.
I stood there in shock for a moment; then I ran like he** outta there. I’m not kidding…either that was a ghost, or that’s the best d*mn reinactor I’ve ever seen

I’ve been to the Alamo several times. I did not see anything but I can certainly tell you that the feeling there is very heavy. Reading the letter from Travis to his family brought tears to my eyes.

I would not be surprised if were haunted though, considering how many people died there. It’s really an amazing part of Texas history none the less and I recommend if you are in San Antonio that you visit this historical site.

I also do not understand why people who do not believe in ghosts or the spirit world come to look at these types of sites other than to troll everyone else. Meh….

i live in rio grande valley edinburg Texas if your from san antonio your probably familier with Mcallen its also in the rio grande valley i am 21 years old and have alot of friends that ended up attenting utsa(university of texas san antononio) so i often take a trip up there to san antonio to visit friends for summer vacation or things of that nature. Ive gone atleast ten times in my current and only vehicle. and one of these times i encountered a very strange peculier situation… i was sixteen then younger and more naive then i am currently. Me and about six of my buddys had spent the whole day drinking 40 oz bottles of steel reserve(a strong malt liqour)and then playing a small rock concert at some local venue near the aladome that was the whole reason for the trip my buddys were a band trying to branch out and we decided to make a trip out of a offer they got to play there. later that day after the show we decided to go the river walk in hopes of running into some cute girls maybe find a party or just hang out.. i did not know it then but that night i would witness something that up to this day im not sure how or why i saw what i did but i know i did. after walking a tiring amount of the river walk me and my buddy realized we had seperated from the rest of our friends so we figured they would be ready to leave by that time as well so we proceeded to find our way towards my car but while in search of where i had parked we suddenly realized we were lost i could not remember where i had parked my car and i was sure all my friends would be waiting for me there by that time it was already turning 12 or 1 at night and i could only remember i had parked near a giant hotel and THE ALAMO so we thought the smartest thing to do would be walking around this area over and over untill we came across my car the first time i walked by THE ALAMO i noticed it seemed very spooky, i happened to find a bum or what i thought was a bum at the entrence or very front of THE ALAMO it was not odd there happened to be quite alot of bums in that area downtown san antonio so i thought nothing of it and feeling desprete asked him how to get back to a familier area i was discribing to him he seemed nice enough and told me how to get back but as i followed his scetchy directions i felt they were only leading me even more off track and lost. the area got so much more darker and seemed more n more poverty stricken neiborhoods so i did the only smart thing despite having wasted aproximently two hours on this trail to get back to downtown i figured it was best to retrace every step and i did which finally brought me back to THE ALAMO around 3 at night furious about the directions i wanted to curse at the bum but noticed he was gone and in his place stood a tall black man in a securitys uniform i went up to him to convey my story of the false directions and the bum when he informed me that it was impossible because he was the security on gaurd and nobody was allowed on the premises after 10pm which he had been standing right there at the front entrence all night he told me he would have seen the bum or ran him off. spooked and completly tired i asked for his help he pointed me in the right direction and i eventually found my friends upset waiting at my car but ill never forget that bum n how the security told me that was impossible cause i know what i saw that night…

I have not read these comments yet – first wanted to leave my own. There are a lot of historical battlegrounds that are haunted. From the ones I’ve been to, the Alamo and Gettysburg are the two most haunted places I’ve noticed (all of this, of course, from my own perspective). Mom, grandma and I went to the Alamo several years ago. We were so affected by the hauntings we left early – definitely not trying to be involved with any of this ****. The sense of death is still very strong in this area, not only in the alamo, but in surrounding areas. In broad daylight we experienced soldiers patroling the grounds, conversations by the walls originating from thin air, intense feelings as though you are being watched from the inner cells, and there is also a knife in one of the display counters that belongs to a man named Bowie (i believe – not too familiar with TX history – I could be just confusing the man’s name with the popular knife of today) that is not all it seems to be. I don’t know if things have changed since I’ve been there, but I also vaguely remember a cell with very few amenities in there – I want to say it only consisted of a chair and MAYBE a bed/cot. Word of warning to be careful around there – I’m native american and our race is very in tune with spirits and there is definitely something in there that is not friendly to our people.

Well one night i went to go see Iron man with my friends at rivercenter It was the last showing so you know it was night. me and my friends were walking around down town for a while and then we decided to go see a place by the alamo we walked right in front of the alamo then one of my friends stopped and said look we looked there was no one. we asked him what he saw and he said he saw a man just standing there inside looking at him. So then we started to tell each others stories about what we have heard about the alamo. so we were sitting right in front of the alamo then from a distance we saw a black figure quickly ran across and then disappeared. we all looked at each other and was wondering what we saw but then we looked again and right there at the entrance inside we saw a figure of a man just standing there so we just got up and quickly walked a way. the next day came and we went to visit the alamo during the day and we asked them about the alamo and they said the they have people going to tell them that they saw someone standing at the entrance before and then disappeared.

you think all these things are weird? there really is no such thing as ‘normal’, at least, not in this world that has already been ruined by humans.

i live in a town near the alamo. i havent been to the alamo in years. I am one of those peoples who are real intrested in ghost, so i am going to check it out in a couple of days. i am only 14 if u must know. I do believe that there is such thing as ghost when my sister was 6 she could talk to my great gramps but the thing is she never met him she never saw a pic of him and he died way before we were born. I too have had some visits with ghost that i wish not to repeat. she still haunts me too. I do remember though when i went to the alamo when i was in 4th grade, there was a lady starring out the window, and i was telling my friends to wave at her, but they had no clue what i was talking about apparently i was the only one to see her.
