I would like to see a photo of this because I do not beleive in ghosts or any of that type of thing.

If you can’t show me a photo of it I can prove that ghosts aren’t real.

The albino women was a real person. She was alone most of her life. Due to her apperence people stayed away from her. Some children even called her names and made fun of her. Her ghost hasnt been seen since the 80’s. I think that she has left this world. Maybe her spirt finally found peace, or maybe she chooses not to be seen. I have heard stories from my grandmother who lived behind Rochester Cemetry that she has seen the albino women walking out of her woods staring up at my grandma’s house. I have lived in Topeka, KS all my life. I havent seen the Albino Women yet, but i still have unanswered questions about her.

What is her real name?
How old was she when she died?
Did she have any family?
When did she die?
How did she die?
Is she still haunting the cemetry and the area around it?

If any of you know the answer to any of these questions please post.

Just to clear things up, she didnt have a child and she isnt looking for it. So many people say that because they heard it from someone else. People just take the Bloody Mary story and give it to any ghost that was a women. It is very over used! Even if the Albino Women had a child i think that someone would have known.

this story is real,my family says that she is one of my great aunts or something like that.everyone in town thought her to be a witch because of her white skin and red eyes.they took her baby and burned her alive in her house which was the same location as rochester cemetary.

I have a few questions about The Albino Lady. But I will only like to ask one. Does anyone have any hints on what her ghost is searching for? Albino people are known for bad vision if their albiness is bad enough to make them have pink eyes. And the condition is hereditary. So could someone if they have any idea’s on the answer to What her ghost is searching for please email me or leave a note on my website. Thank you.

There is a video that pretty much sucks on youtube about the albino lady in rochester cemetary. just do a search on it. I was thinking about going out there tonight but i know it’s locked up at night. i went to rochester elementary and lived in north topeka almost all my adult life. never seen albino lady. anybody remember the creepy house in north topeka by the rubber workers union? it had trees all around it and a bunch of VW’s in the yard. big vicious dogs…teeth painted on mailbox??? freaky area anyways.

the rubber workers union (old site) at NW Taylor and Waddell st for clarification. it’s on the west side of taylor, directly north of the railroad tracks.
we used to go to the union workers building for different parties/receptions and get freaked out by the eerieness of that place across the parking lot!
we’d run to our cars!

My teacher told us the story one day and the main idea is just a woman just wanting to be alone. But to understand her you have to know a little about her life. My teacher met her once. Just once in his life. He was on a bike and his tire was going flat. Then he turned around and about 30 yards away he saw her. Her hair all over the place and he said that he almost didnt make it because every time he got faster she got closer. I will never forget what she said. She said Im going to get you. Im going get you…..ALL.

I lived in Topeka for 20 years and never saw the Albino lady. My grandpa used to drink Jim Beam with the actual lady though. So if you decide to check this out for yourself, *and you are over the age of 21, you may want to bring a bottle of Beam to see if that helps.

I live pretty close and have been to the Rochester Cemetery 50 – 75 times probably. I find them relaxing and my friends and I go there a lot when its nice out to just chill. I’ll be honest, it’s late and some of these stories freaked me out a bit, but I’ve never seen a damn thing at the Rochester Cemetery. I heard her grave is near the gate in the nearest right corner with the rest of the super old headstones, but I’m not sure about that. Anyway, I don’t think ghost are real but could be wrong I guess. Like a lot of people have said, she was real at least. My grandma knew her or knew of her. Can’t remember what she said. These stories about her being mean sound completely ridiculous to me, as people who have accounts of her being alive all say good things about her. Bringing Jim Bean is a pretty good idea to the guy who said that. I’ve had a tiny bottle of Gin in the cemetery before, but I’m not surprised she didn’t appear for a sip of that. It tasted like ****, but only cost like a dollar from the new liquor store that was built next to Little Caesars near by.
