The Boston House
In 1901, a woman hanged herself in the attic of this building. The attic, which now serves as an attorney’s office, is haunted by the woman. The woman now haunts the buildings. Her visits occur so often that the story has been featured in the local newspaper numerous times.

I lived in PSL and Ft. Pierce I graduated from psl high.. there are alot of places there that are said to be haunted. especially on Indian River Drive. There is the “Witches graveyard” on IRD as well.. it all depends on what you believe.

I live in Avon Park, Florida not too far from PSL or Ft. Pierce. I have family that lives there. I myself have not heard of these stories about Boston House or Indian River Dr. I am a private investigator, and even though I am trained to go on facts, I have learned that just becouse you haven`t witnessed something yourself does not mean it hasn`t occured.I believe that this is more than likely true of hauntings. Have an open mind!

I grew up in Ft.Pierce and heard the stories surrounding the Boston House and I know for a fact through research at The Fort Pierce Historical Museum located Under South Bridge that a women who lived in the Boston House lost her Son and Husband to The Atlantic Ocean back in the 1900s and she supposedly waited in the top floor looking for there return till she died im not 100 percent certian how she died i heard all of them, it was of some disease, or of a broke heart, or from old age, or hanging herself research it yourself through public files. Anyways The Boston House is now an attourney’s office which has been rumored that some sort of apparition has been seen looking towards the ocean with a face of sorrow I’ve Personally never seen this but then again I’ve never really looked that hard or waited around to see it happen. I’ve also heard The while a secretary was working there she experience the building shaking and the roof caving in at that point she ran out of the room and return later with her employer finding the room in order and perfectly fine. I hope this clears up something about the Boston House. And personally I believe that among The Boston House there are quite a few haunted places in Ft.Pierce and St.Lucie County it has a long history and it has had its far share of natural and unnatural deaths

I grew up in Ft. Pierce and not only is the Boston House haunted but there are several other places along Indian River Dr. that are also haunted. There are also several places in the old part of Ft. Pierce that have been known to have supernatural activity in them.

Hi,
I believe in hauntings. What I cannot BELIEVE is how many Americans do not have a command of our English language and cannot spell to save their lives. PATHETIC!

I was born and raised in Ft. Pierce, but I’ve never heard anything about the Boston House. My best friend still lives down there in the drive so I’ll have to go check it out. We have been to the Witches cemetary as kids, and even though we went during the day, I’d totally believe any stories about that place. I’ve heard several stories about the old McCarthy house there on the drive too. I’ll definatley have to make it a point to look up more places next time I go down to visit. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

With all due respect Sandy. I believe in ghosts more than religion(s). Religion is evil and the cause of more deaths and wars than anything else on this planet. Ghosts sightings are a personal experiences that don’t require years of mass brainwashing from everyone around you. When it comes to ghosts you either believe your own eyes and feeling or you don’t. With religion you are required to live your life accoring to other peoples interpretations of ancient writings.

Sandy,
There are ghosts mentioned in the bible – along with demons. I pray you pay more attention to your bible reading and less time making other’s roll their eyes toward religion.
