Well in my opinion that is true. Mean I may not have ever been down that road but you can never tell the truth now a days. Can you?

It is true. I happen to be from the town of Edgewood and have experienced it more than once.

i have never heard of this story but i’ve heard of ne about the tracks.

why in the heck did the bus just burst into flames???

I live in Edgewood and i have seen the bus. It freaks me out even in the day. I dont dare go in at night. It is also said that you will see the driver. Walking toward you or toward the bus. To kids its a great place to have a party but also to scare people. Edgewood has other stories but this is the best one.

dude I was walking down that same road and a knife on fire came after me I crapped myself I then was stabbed three times then It vanished along with SMOKE IN THE AIR THEN i HEARD A SHALLOW SCREAMING. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i don’t believe it because i’ve been through there and i haven’t experienced nothing. people hello doesn’t this story seem so familiar to the one about the little kids that were in a bus and that the bus got runned over by a trian. that happened over at San Antonio Texas.

i went down there no thanks to any of yall. i found it on my own. but anyways, me and a few friends went out there and it was so damn scary. i wouldnt even get out of the car. 3 other people did get out of the car and hop the fence to get closer to the bus. but it is true, you can hear voices. its like theyre having a conversation with someone else. you can hear walking. but we never heard any screams or saw any bus driver. we were really hoping that we would. if anyone wants directions to this place, e mail me Xthexdoorsx@aol.com or IM ME. these websites give really ****** directions. half the time we get lost.

its true i was on my way to a family reunion someware around there and we were driving pass there and listing to music really loudly then next thing u know we hear really loud screaming after that we went a different way and sayd we were never going back there again

Ohhh **** that is scary! I havent gone through that road yet but my grandma had. She told me once that she saw lots of children walking down that street.She was heading to a trip at Los Angeles.

mwahahahaha!! i live in edgewood and i go there almost every weekend,and yes it is true! i love going there just to get scared.i love edgewood!!!my stupid friends got out and went into the bus and took pics and some crazy things came out in those pics!!

Ok so it’s down this road that you have to cross this bridge it’s stupid because it’s broke right now but it is the really creepy road, enough said but the bus driver you see coming toward you is way out there, if you park your car you have to turn it off it happens most when its widy but the bus driver is there just look if you pull in there just look straight ahead and you’ll see him if you want in the bus jump the fence also I have bad luck and everytime We go at night our brand new car brakes down half way down the road it gets really foggy in the car and if you look out the window there is someone walking toward you it’s happened in 3 different cars with 3 different drivers and the drivers not knowing about our first experience.

The burning bus is not true.I know becouse in 1995 when I threw a party out there right next to the bus it was very foggy and cold we were out there for 4hrs drinking.The only thing that made us jump,is that my friend scared another friend .If you want to have fun park over the bridge,just ask annyone in edgewood try the fruite stand in town thell probably know.

Why hasnt anyone given real directions to this place?
some one posted a message for emailing him for directions but he dont answer that email. if someone knows the directions then post them so others can check it out and see if its true or not

yeah i kinda beleive it. but im from new hampshire so.. i dont know. nothin really goes around here. but my house is haunted. but i would like to go there to see it happen

I wouldn’t doubt it! It’s like the story about the kids who died on the bus that was hit by a speeding trian. Story goes that the bus died right on the tracks just as a train came and wiped everyone out. Now if you park on the tracks and put your car in neutral your car will be pushed by unseen childrens hands over the tracks and to safety on the other side. An off duty police officer washed his car and took it to the tracks. Sure enough his car was pushed and he got out and put baby powder on the back of his car. Sure as sunshine all these little hands appeared. I believe the state was Texas. It if you check the papers for the year the crash was suppose to take place. The local papers carries no such story. Fact or fiction? You be the judge!

Can anyone please place directions to this place from Austin, Tx. Iv been to a haunted “house” not to long ago and found it exciting (shadows and all) and I would like to go to this places. So if possible can the directions be put up thx. Jon

JON, dont waste your time driving from austin to edgewood, i drove there, the supposedly road is gated up and no trespessing, the idiots on this site that say they seen it been there and its real are all lying, funny how none of them can post directions to this place, the directions i got was to a dead end if this place is so real i would like to see someone give out the real directions, but we all know no one can

My dad grew up in Edgewood and I still have family that live there. I haven’t heard about this, but I’m not saying it’s not true.. who knows.

Ok this storey is very true. For those wanting directions keep reading and I will leave them at the end . I am 25 and have lived in Edgewood for 8 years now. The first time I heard about the bus was from an elderly man who has lived here for all of his natural born life. I checked it out myself along with my neices Britny and Desirea who posted on this also. Our car died(brand new car at that). Someone started walking towards us from behind. Then the car began to fog up. Screaming began coming from inside the bus. We took pictures on our cell phone, and a mysterious girl (which was not with us!) appeared in the photo. Now if you are fimiliar with Edgewood, travel on 895 , pass Davids, turn directly left after the railroad tracks , you should be on CR 3504. Keep going straight in this dorection, cross over bridge( which is re built now) , keep on straight until you come to a four way stop. To your right at the stop sign , you will see a road with grass high on both sides. Take that road. Congrats you are on Burning bus road. If you drive slowly , you will be able to spot the bus on your left( trees have been cut down around it, and the area has been cleaned up.) Pull into the drive and park. You can then decide upon all of this for yourself.

Yeah…I live in Edgewood. I’ve been to the bus it really creeps me out. If your ever in Edgewood I would insist taht you go on hallows eve…

I live about 20 miles from Edgewood and have never heard this before. Would love to know more about it.

this story is so f**ken skary i actualy saw the ghosts

i went out there in 1986 or 1987,not sure of exact year,with a church group.on halloween night.the story told to us is that the engine caught fire and the driver pulled over to the side of road,the emergency door in was stuck and thats why no one got out.other than being dark and scary,we never saw or heard anything.

This story is real.Me and a bunch of people went out there one night.We had hell finding it but my friends dad gave us directions over the phone.After about 2 hours of looking we finally found it.As we were coming up to it we saw what looked like a man standing in the road waving but when we got closer he faded away.When we got there a few of us jumped the fence what made it look fake was some kids wrote all over it word like boo and beware but you could still feel something was not right we filmed the whole trip iincluding the trip to clarks ferry in grand saline.When we got home and went over the tape you could here kids yelling at a distance.My friend darrin longoria had the camera and was looking around he looked down real quik and when he brought the camera back up ashes were falling all around us.The story is that the but burst into flames but what i think happend is the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree because the old bus is sitting against a tree and you can still see where it was burnt as we were leaving i was climbing over the gate and i looked back and saw that the tree it had hit was black like it had just happend.I never went back but dont let people tell you it is fake because we did at first but you can call me and ask me at 9035697918 just ask for TJ and i will tell you what happend in person.

To be honest, however, I’m skeptical about this particular haunting.
If the doors jammed, why not bust out windows and toss the kids out?

Say you know what I have heard about this I lived in Edgewood,Tx for about 7 yrs. and I never went there but my oldest daughter and her friend went there and it is true. The way to get there going east on hwy 80 from Dallas you go to the first red light in town turn left go passed David’s food store and it is out past the 2 nd cematary. The road is not closed but where the bus is at there is a gate up around that area but you can go down that road.

I’ve been on the road and went inside the bus , its kind of creepy felt like you weren’t welcome on the bus.. I took pic’s of the bus as well and have them on my myspace page, it was really freaky the wind was blowing in only that area and I had chills down my spine like someone was behind me and as if i herd foot steps outside the gate, I wasn’t the only one there but my mom, grandma and seven year old sister was standing by the gate and they were coming behind us .. Now this happened during the day and no one else was on that road, but when i look at the pictures i just get a creepy feeling i don’t know… it spokes me out I have to go passed that road every night after church its pretty scary… and dark down that one road I wouldn’t be caught by myself down that road … if anyone wants to see pic’s to prove there’s a bus then e mail me.

I’m from Wills Point. Funny seeing that the Burning Bus made it to web. The Burning Bus was on a really good backroad between Wills Point and Edgewood (small towns about an hour E of Dallas). I can vouch for the bus being there but don’t remember much of hearing the screams(except from the girls that my friend and I took out there).

This is very true, me and three of my friends came from beaumont texas to verify it for are selves. We stayed the night out by the bus behind the metal fence, as i got later into the night we all heard the events of the bus. We heard tires screeching, an explosion in the distance out by the pond, then out of no where we heard more than four kid voices scream. The screams got louder and louder, we all tried to stay the night out there, but then as we were in the tent we heard a loud motor screech, when we all looked out side there was no vehicle but the sound was still there. We got all of it on camera, until the battery died when it was at a full charge. Freaky or scary???? So yes the burning bus is very much true.

I actually leave a few houses away from the burning bus i ride down there sometimes at night the latest ive ver been down there is 3 in the morning.
But i have never seen anything or heard anything and the thing that scares me the most is that its right beside the graveyard.

I am so amazed at the amount of people who say they have been there and seen it all but I worry the lack of intelligence they have on the directions to this “so called” place

I have been by the burning bus just this halloween just driving by it creeped me out. My boyfriend teased me about stopping there and I freaked out as soon as we passed it everyone in the car just got this weird feeling. If we would have stayed out there I’m sure something would have happened.

I live in Edgewood,and it is not hard to get to. It is real,me and my friends went on Halloween night. when we pulled up we shut of the car and listend. We heard screaming and when we tryed to back out are car stuck in Neutral for about 10min. We got out of neutral and left and we all felt like we needed to go back. like if someone wanted us to go help them. we drove by it one time and the bus was full of smoke and it smelt really bad
