I actually have a book by some people who write about all the creepy and weird things in different states around the country. It is TRUE the girl died of a disease and they had the dollhouse placed at her grave. The book’s author heard the story straight from members of the family and they also have pictures of the dollhouse in the cemetary in their book. People are so wrong to try and claim she was molested and murdered when that NEVER EVEN HAPPENED AND I HAVE IT IN WRITING FROM REPUTABLE RESEARCHERS/AUTHORS!!!!! GET A LIFE AND GET A CLUE PEOPLE!!!!

Well, I don’t know if it’s true or not but I think just the thought of a dollhouse and a cemetery is what really scares people. And as for all the other comments….I laughed my butt off. So funny. But people seem to be more worried about the uncle then the little girl.

I grew up there! I seriously believed the story, but now I think the story is just a ploy for boys to get the girls out there to have a “make out” session. I went there one time and the boy that I was with would scare the bejeebies out of me every time I mentioned I had to go, the boy would say “oh, I think I see her,” I would say “oh where?” thank you darren, you got me over my fear of ghosts!

I’ve been to the Dollhouse before. It’s in a little cemetary right next to a house (an actual, inhabited house). I never really walked right up to it, so I never saw a tombstone; but it is a creepy area. I grew up about 20 minutes away from there, by the way. On one of the visits the dollhouse had been tipped over onto it’s side, which was a shame. Teenagers always seem to flock to the place, for some reason.

the original doll house was torn down by some girl, and they built another one. the little girl did die of a childhood disease, but her family was on their way up north when she died, so they left the dollhouse there, then they continued on north. so no, the uncle didn’t do it. and the original dollhouse is not there. someone has vandalized the dollhouse that stands now. i have been there many times, and its truly sad that anyone would vandalize a cemetery. if you want to see something even sadder, go down the road a little to the next cemetery, there are alot of nice grave stones there that have been kept up, but there are alot of little stones that have only an X on them. they are the graves of slaves, and no one even bothered to put a name or a date on them. its sad to know that someone lived and died on earth, and no one cared enough to even put a name on them.

I have been to the Dollhouse grave on several occasions and I have been right up to the dollhouse. It is not a scary thing. It is not haunted and I believe the cemetary now is gated off at night so vandals cannot get in to do more harm. The only scary part about the whole deal is the graveyard is down a gravel road in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by trees.

I have been to the cemetery actually I went last Friday night. It wasn’t that scarry. I went up there with a few family members taking pictures of the headstones for our ancestery work up and everything was just calm and cool until we got to the doll house. My sister even gave her a teddy bear. When she opened the door a order came out it had a smell of musty almonds. Musty like old wood and the smell of sweet almonds. That was just weird. We was taking pictures of the headstone and my brother-in-law saw a figure in the doll house he ran us over trying to get away. That isn’t even the scary part the whole time we was there it felt like someone was watching us. Mind you it was 9 or 10PM Pitch black and freezing cold the ground had frost on it. After we started back to the car we could hear footstep behind us. We was walking shoulder to shoulder across the cemetery. After we got back to the fence we opened the gate and went out as we were looking around the cemetery there was a fog by the doll house. We took a few pictures and got warm an then I felt my hand burning I had a cut on the inside of my hand and I hadn’t touched anything in the hand that was cut I was holding my flash light the other hand I had my camara. I did swap hands all the time that we was there.

I have been to the site and while I did not see a ghost of a little girl I did see orbs and felt a almost electric atmosphere. It is so sad that someone has twisted this story into her being raped. She died of a childhood sickness.

I think that the story has to be some what true to a point, but people have to know just how far to take that story and view all the points, if it was a disease, what did she have? did it run in her family? and if people do see her ghost in the doll house then people shouldnt try to scare others. In other words its allk disgraceful to dis a lil girls grave and her familys wishes

The doll house is there, not the original one. The cemetery is well maintained and patroled by the city police department after dark. If you are caught trespassing, they will arrest you. Is there a hunting there? Didn’t find one.
