The Gettysburg College Library
Once, two highly acclaimed administrators ventured into the basement of the library. While there, they saw a doctor in clothes reminiscent of clothes worn in the Civil War, who asked them to come and help. Also during this brief moment of horror, the witnesses claim to have heard the screams of patients and the sight of blood as well. The two witnesses quit their jobs the following day, never to return. It turns out that this place was the site of a field hospital during the Civil War after the Battle of Gettysburg.

This story is so twisted it’s not even close to being the right one. Try at least getting the right building next time.

There were hundreds of thousands people killed in that battle in only 3 days. Of course its haunted. I live 20 mins away and go to class in gburg. Its deff a haunted area. Not just by the soldiers of battle, but by numerous murders and hangings. Visit Sach’s Bridge. Many hangings there. You start driving down roads and you end up turning around because of the unsafe and horrific feeling it gives you.

I have been to Gettysburg many times and every time there is always something weird that has happened that I can’t explain. The last time is when my camera would not work at Devil’s Den, but then worked just fine after we left the area. i asked a park ranger about ghosts and he just said there are a lot of things that happen there that they “can’t explain.”
Even they get a little spooked, and he did admit that he saw two soldiers that looked like reenactors, and when he approached them, they just disappeared.

My friend and I are going to pool our money, and buy some investigative equipment; one of the first places we’re going to is Gettysburg…

I am a first year at Gettysburg College. I heard this same story except that it occurred in Penn Hall (our administration building). There are some cool stories about the campus. As a history buff I enjoy them. I have yet to experience anything. Same with my friends.

My husband and I drove to Gettysburg for our vacation this past summer. I knew it was said to be very haunted but did not expect anything to happen but it did. Where we stayed the first night I was lying on the bed just closed my eyes and felt someone press down on my leg it felt like fingers. My husband was no where near me so it was not him. The Inn where we stayed did confirm that this was not the first time someone had told them about unexplained things happening in the room also. Even after this happened to me I was for some reason not afraid to stay there the second and third night and I am not sure why.
