"i am the author of most proclaimed haunted places.along with unpleasent nightmares."

YOU wrote a book? You must have a brilliant staff of editors with grammar like that.

Anyways, all I see is unevidenced support here. It's not evidence with someone thinks they saw something. Lots of people saw bigfoot but until I see him, doesn't mean he's real.

I have lived in Myrtle Beach for almost my entire life and I have never seen the gray man, however I do believe in all of the stories. My question is on this entire website how does mytrle beach (and all areas surronding) only have the gray man ghost story? We have Alice Flagg, we have the Lucas bay, Old gun's church, we have an old haunted hospital on the air force base which not alot of people know about unless you have been honored enough to go in there for whatever reason, since it has been closed for decades.... But there is alot more to us than just the gray man don't get me wrong the gray man is an awesome story however I want scary and the scary where I can go and see not the scary I have to wait on a hurricane to come and then just maybe I will see him..... I haven't seen him yet.... But now Alice Flaggs' grave that is scary as well as all the rest of the stories above, since you can go and physically be a part of it..... You need any more info let me know!!!!

I've read about this ghost story. Because, I read it from my school's book about a couple years back when I was a little girl. It was a very interesting story, I must say. Besides, that of the Flying Dutchman.

It is a true story.I had this cousin who went up there for a vacation once, waaaaaaay before I was born,a few days before hurricane Hugo hit.He was walking along the beach one morning looking for shells to make a bracelet for his girlfriend out of,and the grey man was there when he finally found enough shells. My cousin yelled at him, asking if he needed any help, since the grey man looked so weird, and the grey man disappeared. My cousin went home and told my auntie about it,she told him the story about the grey man, since he grew up in California and didn't know the story, and they left when my uncle got back from looking around Pawley's Island for a restraunt to get some lunch at and when they were watching the news one day back in NC where they had been living before they came down to Pawley's Island and they heard that Hugo that struck around that area, demolishing alot of buildings. So the story of the Grey Man really is true.I'm checking out all the haunted places in my home state down here in SC I can find,so I can do a school report on it.If anyone needs a good ghost story with evidence to back it up,email me at shurikengirl@homeSC.com in a few weeks.I've been living in SC since I was born, and I've grown up hearing every ghost story from around here imaginable.I only live a few minutes away from Boone Plantation as a matter of fact.
