The Kraft House
In 1984, after being drugged at a party by a crazed man, a young woman was taken to this warehouse. She was raped while on a chair in the middle of the warehouse, and in the process, the depraved’s gun went off, instantly killing the woman. The bullet was never found. Exactly ten years later, the manager of the warehouse had to stay late to complete an assignment. At 3:59 AM, 15 calls were made to 911 from the 15 phone lines in the warehouse. All the operators reported hearing a woman cry, “Please help me,” then a dial tone. When police arrived on the scene, they found a chair in the middle of the warehouse, and a bullet nearby.

I live in pocky and i thought the Kraft house was on Kraft road and was torn down because evil rituals were being preformed there. I am not aware of the rail road building and if it is so i would like to know exactly where it is.

well my sister lives in poky, and last weekend she went there and she told me that it is scary and she said that cops patrol around there and she said she talked to the cops and asked them what happen and that is the story she took pictures there and she is sending them to me so I know it is true because she told me and she saw it with her own two eyes so she said it was soooo scary.

I live in Pocatello, and i have never heard this story, not once. I think people have too much time on their hands, and just enjoy freaking themselves out over a bunch of hype.

My brother works for the Poky Police so I will have him dig some stuff up. The old building is now used by Global Food and is on Kraft road but back in 1989, a few friends and I decided to go into the building and judge for ourselves. The building has three levels and we didn’t see much of anything until we started down into the basement. We almost walked right into some ritual with roughly a dozen people doing something I don’t really want to know. We ran out of there with someone on our tail and took off across the field to the North-West of the building and around the West side of Great Western Malting. The buiding really is messed up. Before Global Foods moved in I was helping with the electrical work and it made me nervous to go back into there. Many strnge things happen during the remodel and I got out of there fast. As soon as I can dig up any police files on the place I will be sure to post it. Question….Does anyone have anything on Blackfoot South. The tunnels under the place are very frightening!!!!!! but that is a different adventure!!!

If either of the 1984 or 1994 incidents really took place, I’d very much like to see some details. Who was the woman? The killer?, The manager?, and what happened to the manager? Is there any proof the 1909 incidents took place? If any of this stuff happened, there should be police reports, newspaper articles, etc.

I have worked in this building for 6 months, & although it is a bit creepy, especialy in the basement, I have never seen or heard anything that could be considered ghostly. I have heard that there were pentagrams painted on the floor & walls in one particular room by teenagers & have heard most of the ghost stories about this place, but as of yet have experienced nothing spooky. I think they are just stories.

I live in Pocatello now and have not heard a thing, however I grew up in Blackfoot a block away from State Hospital South. My husband went on a tour of the old abandend buildings and some tunnels, he said it was creepy….sort of like house on haunted hill. He said there is a picture still hanging on the wall in one building where a guy is getting a frontal Labotomy and is still awake (My husband said the guys eyes were huge). But the creepiest place in Blackfoot hands down is the old school house on Rich Lane.

i like pickles. dude. there is no such thing as hauntings. after people die, they either go to heaven or hell. there are spirits, but not of people that have died. they are just spirits that walk around.

I too also live in Pocatello, and have for years. I have been to Kraft House to see for myself.. you can’t see much anymore. They have night guards and such.. what I did see though spooked even me (the sceptic and huge horror buff)The building is very old and creepy looking but thats not what scared me. The old school bus parked right outside the gates and the tar drop behind the building are what had me by the neck. What actually made me leave was the fact that I found a toddler’s tiny purple hair ornament clear back in the tar drops. What was a tiny child doing there???
