I live somewhat near there and have always heard this story although it i think the story i heard was that the girl was in a carrage and it crashed in the lake i dont no but i have been there several times and i have never seen anything and i also no people that lived there and no one has seen anything.

That story is true. Y else would white rock be such a disturbed place? there is always a murder or kidnap there and gay guys go there to make out. Not joking! My dad used to fish there but he don’t no more, because it’s just a bad place.

This is a true story!!! But i hered it differently. Once there was a little girl hiking around an a red truck pulled she got in and she was geting out and she turned into a wet spot!!!!

This is your classic case of some teen age kid starting a rumor. I have been there, several times, and have never seen, nor heard anything strange. This is a cliche, that occurs everywhere, and the accountability of the story is skeptical at best, in my own personal opinion.

Here’s what I’ve found:
Flag Pole Hill: Haunted or not? NOT. Go during the day and you’ll find beer bottles broken all ove rthe place and the strong smell of liquor. My opinion is that there are people hanging out there drinking and playing pranks. Also, seems that there is a lot of single men “cruising”, possible a place for lewd conduct.
Lady of the Lake: Haunted or not? Haunted. Too many accounts basically the same story of a young lady. This has been circulating since the 1930’s and witnessed by some credible people.
Peak sighting will be likely close to July 5th, the time when one young lady (possible the ghost) died at the lake. This is documented in newspapers.

Will she get in the car with you even if you don’t stop? And if she’s just gonna disappear a mile or two down the road, why’d she get in your car in the first place.And that wet spot she leaves behind in your car, she probably does that just to piss you off!!

I would suspect the “wet spot” is some sort of evaporation…not necessarily from her coming out of the water.
Good question: why does she dissappear? I suspect that if you read the stories behind the hauntings she is a distressed spirit. Either by an accident or suicide, this lady was/is not ready to cross over…but still wants to and has a need to communicate with people. People who stop to pick her up really believe they are picking up a live person, not a ghost…its not until she disappears that it hits them what she was.
So if your going there to “pick up a ghost” chances are she will not approach you for the ride.
So, again,why does she dissappear before reaching her destination? Probably because she cannot stay materialized for a long period of time, or she doesnt want to leave that area where she died. She may have a true affection for the lake and feels tranquility and peace.
What will it take to get her to go to the other side? Thats where ghost hunters can help. To unlock the mystery behind who she is and how she can resolve her issues and move on…
Was her death ruled a “suicide” and the true cause of death was something more sinister? Was her death ruled an “accidental drowning”, but in reality she was murdered. Or was she just not ready to die?
The truth behind who she is and how she died is the biggest mystery…and to solve that could set her free to cross over.

I have a picture taken at White Rock Lake.In the picture, over my aunts head, there is a white object that looks like a transparent hand. I’m not suggesting anything, but that is the honest truth.

She got in because she was trying to get home when her+ her b/f fell in + drowned now she gets in there car and she gets out in front of her house (has 2 be a full moon) and turns into a wet spot

ok the story you posted is kinda not true

One stormy night a girl was walking by herself and some men came up and killed her.She was burryied in some rose cemetary it is said that if you are driving past the cemetary you will see a girl trying to get a ride.So she gets in the car once someone comes up and asks her if she wants a ride so after she gets in.She tells you a random address and after a couple blocks she then dissapears into thin air.So you are right about her riding in the car but she leaves no puddels no trace of any kind.
