No, it had nothing to do with a prom, it was in the 1920′s. She was getting married and when her soon to be husband got cold feet and ditched her at the alter, she was so upset the drowned herself. I’ve lived in Dallas forever and I always heard all the drowning, but a car that picked her up took her to her home and always disappeared when they got her home and knocked always a wet spot in the car.

well i beleive in ghost but i dont know if this is real i have went there before an kinda like camped out, cause i went on a fishing trip with my parents. lets just say that,,,that place is freakin freay as hell. i had to take my dog for a walk when i was there a it was hot that night an i felt a real cold hand type thing touch me an i freaked out bad.. the spillway scares me cause im affraid of drawnding

My ex-mother in law who is now passed on was born in 1929 she told me of the story and claimed that it was very real, she said when she was in her 20′s she and some friends were boating on the lake when the lady in white appeard on the boat it scared her boyfriend so bad he fell over hitting his head and nearly drowned himself…she was not much of a story teller so i believe every word.

I lived right next to the lake for 3 years. I never seen anything! I use to go set at one of the ports late at night (my thinking spot) and never seen anything!!!!!

ok this sounds familiar to a story bout this one road u can take to get to roxton texas…theres this ghost and shes called the snow white ghost and if you drive on the road late at night you’ll either see her standing in a field all by herself or youll hear sumthing like ur car breaking down or your tire going flat and if you get out to check it then shell get in the car and while your driving if you look in the mirror you can see her in the backsear or shell start touching ur hair or w/e sometimes shell just skip the whole car breaking thing and youll feel her touching u also…and its rily creepy cuz there r noooo houses around

Alright, You have it all wrong. At Lake Texoma, They have cabins where schools visit and stay for 2 nights, 3 days. They call it, “Camp Jolt” And “Camp Jolt” Was made about 50 years ago. Here was the story that the kids were told when they asked of the haunted cabin, Cabin “3B” Which is tha cabin I stayed in when I went to Camp Jolt many years ago. And before I go any further, The cabin and the story, Is FAKE! The story was, In the summer Lake Texoma is a church camp, so a lady was going to get married at the chappel there, Here and her husband got into a fight, there wedding day, She drove off, lost control of the car and went into the lake. Here is where the story twists, Some say, she drown, died and automatically haunts the cabin closest to her death place, Cabin 3B. Others, She got out, and slept in Cabin 3B, and died in her sleep. People have “reported” seeing, Wet footprints coming from the shower (Explanation: Other girls wet footprints after showers” Flickering lights (Explanation: The hall lights are motion sensored) And seeing a girl in white running into the lake. (Explanation: You have the “Ghost Story” in your mind, so your mind plays tricks on you, MAKES you see things) Seriously I was in that cabin stayed up ’til 12:30. So please don’t be scared ANYONE. Trust me, Lake Texoma, Cabin 3B, Camp Jolt, NOT HAUNTED!

I live near Dallas and have heard of this, but have never experienced it. I have also been told she only comes out at night when it is poring rain. Also, as a child on a farm creepy things used to happen. I once heard a noise upstairs in a bedroom and I went up and peeked in. I saw my sisters note card shuffling in air like someone was reading them. I gasped and they fell to the floor. Also, at my work place in Dallas, I get a creepy feeling that someone is watching me. I can get a good mental picture of him, but he does not bother me. He left for a few months, then 2 weeks ago I began feeling hi presence. Then just last week I was in the restroom alone and I began to hear whispering noises.

one time my nanny’s dad’s friend was driving by the lake and he saw a dead body floating in the lake, then saw a fuzzy image of a girl just standing there covered with blood.
