I live in Dallas and have so for all my life. I can say that without a shadow of a dought that the “lady of the lake” is FALSE. There are no records of a lady in white or even remotly fitting the description (as their are many versions of the story) drowning on the lake. This “lady of the lake” story can be found in nearly every city with a lake. However when these storys are held up to real facts They are found to be false

My grandfather was a cab driver in the 70’s and he picked up the ghost at the lake. he was making his last rounds and she got his attention once she was in he looked back and no one was there but a puddle of water.

I live in Dallas and I’ve heard this story many times, but that you had to find the girls gravestone, that’s said to be like a big angel, and kiss it any where I believe. Then go around the lake 10 times and where the cemetery is you’ll see a girl and if you drive by her you’ll get in a car crash. But if you pick her up and talk to her (she said not to answer) she’ll disapear peacfully.

You don’t need to go to this location, it’s very dangerous because kids play pranks. Its a true story, because I live next to White Rock. But going over there, is NOT the greatest idea. Especially on Halloween.

My husband told me about this…he had actually picked her up one night…he said he was driving her home and when he got to her house…she vanished…leaving behind a wet spot.

I’ve been seein my dog outside lately around 10:30 every night….and he died 3 years ago.

This is true, my mom use to walk at a bar near by and said people would walk in saying they gave some one a lift and the next thing they knew, she was gone with only a puddle of water. They also said she was wearing a wedding dress.
