Anyone ever been in the basement? It’s the scariest thing ever, I was seriously freaked out. Go down there and there won’t be any doubts in your mind that this place is haunted.

well I am a Mayo. I have lived in Tarboro most of my life but my family has been here for over 6 generations. I have been to this house also. The place is very eerie, but beautiful inside. There are quite a few Mayo house’s in Bethel also. A friend of mine couison lives in one of them and it is haunted also. I know Kelsi and like she said, 2 of the Mayo House’s were burnt down by teenage kids to my knowledge. It’s a shame they were burnt down. At one of the Mayo’s, the first time me & a friend related to Kelsi went to the house, and as I about to enter the doorway, a spirit went through me. Both places I have experienced quit a bit, but we never heard a dog, but there were many spirits there. I live in a house that is close to 100 yrs. old & as soon as I moved in here, stuff started to happen that are unexlainable. So folks they are out there and all around. Just have an open mind and see what happens.

I have been to that house. It had a very eerie feeling to it, and it has been the only place I’ve been that gave me that feeling. It was burned down, both of the Mayo Houses near Bethel. Since it was burned down, I dont get that eerie feeling anymore. I guess they moved on.

I am a member of the Mayo I am 17 years old i Inharited the Mayo house from my great grand father so I own the house and for the record THE HOME IS NOT HAUNTED.

i live near the location of the old house, Sadly because of danger the firemen in Tarboro burned it down.

i took thz pik wen i waz ova at thz sleepovr n it is said dat it used 2 b a hospital or clinic dnt noe 4 sure but me n ma frend took sum n we foun 2 orbz n sum lil ones but der waz a bunchn thn der waz one where we took one n it showed lyk a smudge of blood but it really wasn’t there!!!Kreepy!
