The McAlmond House
This two story pioneer mansion is said to have been built in 1861. Allegedly, the house is haunted by poltergeist that are triggered by the presence of teen-aged girls. In one report, a family with two twelve year old girls spent the weekend at the mansion. It is said that the house creaked all night. The next morning the door to the unoccupied bedroom could not be budged. It was discovered that an extremely heavy Victorian desk that had been in the center of the room was pushed tightly against the door. No human could have done this because there was only one door in the room and the windows were locked from the inside.

I am new to the Sequim area and am interested in getting together with a few other people and checking this place out for a night. Is anyone interested in doing this? It’s too bad there are no recent posts about this. Please contact me if you are and let’s do it!
