The North Shore
This house, on the north shore, is haunted. The woman that once lived here became so angry with her infant child that she killed him and buried him beneath the house. During the wee hours of the morning, a baby may be heard crying throughout the house; no one has yet found the source of the noise.

I just wanted to give an opinion on the coment of Jamir. In Hawaii their punishments are not bad. You can get away with it as a misdeminor.

Unless you’re from hawaii, you should have kept that immature opinion to yourself. Besides, I’m sure this lady did get punished and I can guarantee the charge wasn’t a MISDEMEANOR. That would be unruly and in Hawaii, you are punished accordingly for every law broken(especially for murdering a child).

AMEN!!!! to you Jena….some people just think that Hawaii is not on the map or they look down on Hawaii…Hawaii is part of the US and when a crime is comitted it is treated like any other crime in the US…so this was not treated as a MISDEMEANOR…so we (the people from Hawaii) would like you to keep your opinion to yourself…thank you and don’t worry this woman is getting her punishment…and be careful before you get yours for talking about her….*winks*

coming from someone who actually lives in hawaii, we’re not retarded, of course we arrest people who kill their kids. we have a very strong government and you dont get away with **** like that. and no, we dont live in grass huts.

Just because we live in Hawaii doesn’t mean we live in grass shacks [Like Farrah said] We have a high society too & our government is just as strong & enforcing as any one in the mainland. The woman probably got charged even more because she murdered a child. The person who said we can just get away with it as a misdemeanor doesn’t sound like they’re from Hawaii. Next time they shouldn’t say anything like that if they don’t know anything about it.

I’m Hawaiian and I grew up in Hawaii but now I have to live in this stupid mainland with STUPID people that think I lived in a grass shack, never wore clothes, and don’t kno how to speak English just because it’s in the books or on TV. Well we DO “have a high society & our government is just as strong & enforcing as any one in the mainland” Do u wanna kno why? Because our hawaiian society was taken over by this RETARDED mainland. So if your gonna critisize law and government BLAME THE MAINLAND!

Well I just want to know why all of you people are gonna get upset because someone stated their opinion about our place here in Hawaii! I agree that We would have taken a crime like that more seriously but why get so upset about it! Ya’ll have no rite talkin about the mainland either! God didn’t put us here to judge what he created! He put us here to enjoy it and make the best out of life! But getting upset about sure isn’t going to solve anything! Wat ya gonna do jump thru the comp. and beat em! Jus stop bein so damn childish!

haha… gotta love this. Most mainlanders (haoles) are the most ignorant people I have met to date. And I have met thousands of people. Even Europeans…rude to say the least… but they have more common sense than our own American mainlanders. Why do so much haoles get hurt here? Because they lack in common sense. Who is dumb enough to stand over a blow hole when the water is shooting out of it at extreme force. A white mainlander of course. And see what happens after he died… they blame the state for the ignorance of one haole!!! haha the jokes on you guys… because we look down on you guys when you come to Hawaii because you have no common sense.

I think both parties are misjudging here, I do not live in Hawaii, nor have I ever been there, But I have enogh common sense not to take a rock, or stand near a blow hole. I also know that Hawaii is full of people with class and common sense and that they do not live in grass huts. People just need to grow up, and stop placing blame on each other.

I am a Mainland-er that lived in Hawaii for 3 years. Never once did I believe before I moved there that the locals lived in grass huts or couldn’t speak English or any of the other stereotypes. And for those of you getting upset about the stereotypes of your islands…don’t you think you are turning around and stereotyping those of us from the Mainland calling us all ignorant? Let me tell you…being from Nebraska…I get the stereotype that we don’t have running water and we all live on farms. So, I know how frustrating it is when they say things like that and it is totally untrue. But, don’t sink to their level and turn around and sterotype them as well! You only make things worse and it makes you look ignorant when you find out you are completely wrong!

Kamakaipolani…. I agree with you.
I am a Scottish lady who has lived on Oahu for a total of three years. OK, I’m still technically a haole – and always will be, even if I’ve turned my back on haole values and the whole haole way of life. But please… let me explain to any doubters who might be reading this, because it’s true:
Aloha rules. Aloha is God and God is Aloha.
ALOHA E AKUA. AKUA E ALOHA.
The spirit of the islands remain forever and forever. Pele and the Guardian Spirits remain…
Those of you who have never lived here or experienced the Great Aloha of these Blessed Islands:
Do not mock that which you do not yet understand.
An open mind is the Gateway to All Knowledge.
Aloha is the key to Everything.
Aloha can mean Hello, Goodbye, or… WARNING.
Which Aloha will you choose to listen to?
REALLY LISTEN to?
Aloha, and Peace.
