Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

The North Shore

Oahu, Hawaii

This house, on the north shore, is haunted. The woman that once lived here became so angry with her infant child that she killed him and buried him beneath the house. During the wee hours of the morning, a baby may be heard crying throughout the house; no one has yet found the source of the noise.

I lived in Hawaii for 3 horrible years as a child
and am not surprised that 90% of you are still
uneducated illiterates (Moks). I mainly hung out at KoKo head
stables only because moks dont ride horses. Too poor
and they hung out at the tourist spots ripping off
people. Prayers dont come true because I prayed every
night that the entire island of Oahu would sink.

I’m sorry, this has nothing to do with the hauntings, however; as I am reading these comments I am astonished by the lack of education which is being displayed (grammatical errors, misspelling of words and lack of basic social skills). The purpose of this site is to inform others who have a common interest in paranormal activity. Many of you are using this as a forum to air out your ignorant opinions which have no bearing on the topic of discussion.

I am not a native Hawaiian but lived in Kailua-Kona for several years in the past. Yes, I would be considered a haole, but I do not appreciate the implication that we are all the same. For the duration of my stay on the islands, I had always upheld my commitment to respect the Hawaiians and their culture. This is their land, and for which they should be proud. For those who have derogatory comments, please refrain and get back to the real topic so we can all enjoy!

What kind of mother would do that to a helpless child. I hope her *** is in jail for what she did. But I hope that the baby boy can rest now. I hope God can take him home. She will have to deal with our creator when it’s her time.

This indeed is a sad story. I’d like to know for sure if it’s true. has the story of the lady been documented anywhere in any archives?? how long ago did this happen? I for one believe Islands any Islands not just the south pacific ones tend to be very haunted.

Aloha Mai Kakou,

Have you missed the point here? This is a site about hauntings in Hawaii. Mai’ poina oukou, ka mana’o o ka ‘uhane i kapu no keia. Now as for all this racial business, go to history class. Make up your own minds about the travesty that was and the misunderstandings of a lesser enlightened time. You shame na kupuna with your ignorance. Ka lapu me ka ‘uhane he ho’ohilahila o’ia.

Aloha,

The story as told here is not the “whole” story. I know the house that this story is about. It’s long gone but it was at Pounders Beach. It goes like this…

A very harried mother was upset that her children would not come in from play. There was a storm coming in soon and the weather was getting bad. Eventually the children came in, all except the youngest one, about 2 years old. The child was hiding by what used to be the boat dock there. (if you are from the area, you know of what’s left of the dock.) The place is called Pounders for a reason. The storm came in, the waves broke over the dock and the child was washed out to sea. His mother searched for what seemed like forever but to no avail. She still searches, and she’s still angry. The cries of the child can be heard now and again at the breakwaters.

Hi to all!
Haole bascially means Foreigner. In years gone pass the people of this islands first met foreigners of fair skin. Ha – breath. Ole – none. No breath or of holding their breath an that is why these foreigners had no color. Some of us in Hawaii at times use the word Haole in a different way. Some of my close friends who are Haole’s, I will at times say A! haole boy, what’s up. This means I ‘m close to them and they don’t get offened. But if someone else would say it, and its a strange, its a whole different story!

To Lehualani, there are many stories of the East end of Molokai, if fact of the hold island. Are you from Molokai? WaveCrest is a good place to start. The Waterfall another. and try the heiau.
