I am a native Hawaiian and I am ashamed of all of the Samoans actually the haoles have it all right. Good news for you I am already in hell, I live in Hawaii. And apparently you don’t know jack about politics or statistics. So I suggest you pick up a newspaper or watch the news or listen to AM radio and then talk to me. Learn your facts before you start telling people to burn in hell. Florida’s poverty isn’t anything compared to here.Hawaii’s politics are out of whack you have homeless people chasing you around for money on every corner and living on the beaches.Go get educated!!!!

And actually I think it would be hilarious if we took out the military bases since all of you want us “Haoles” out of here.It would be funny because there would be around 30,000 jobs gone for locals. And sorry the tourism it going down people just aren’t as interested in Hawaii anymore.Not when they have Fiji,Cayman Islands,Dominican Republic,etc.etc. So tourism wouldn’t get you by for long. And you would have more homeless people coming up to your window at Jack in the Box in Wahiawa, It’s pretty bad when you can’t even go to a drive through without people coming up to your window asking for a dollar to get a cheeseburger. Look at your governor when the minimum wage is 7.25 and the cost of living is tripple that.So like I said get educated.

I feel badly for most of the people who commented on this page. I am a white girl from Seattle and I moved here 5 years ago to be with my fiance who works for a local shipping company. I didn’t come to oppress anyone or to force my “mainland beliefs” on anyone. I have to say that some mainlanders are ignorant to the peaceful and simple way of island life, however, Islanders are ignorant also. There is a problem with education, domestic violence, and poverty that most Islanders won’t admit to. I don’t think they do it because they are idiots but I think they have just never experienced else. Please remember that in all we are Americans and need to appreciate other cultures. Love sees through education, poverty, and differences-love is truth. You will learn more and grow with understanding. Peace to you all-don’t hate as your point comes across much stronger with patience. You also have to question what you are trying to accomplish by what you are saying…think about it! Hey I noticed all the negative comments towards Hawaiians and Samoans or other locals. I know not all of them are true.I’m actually friends with a lot of them. Just like anywhere else there will always be jerks where ever you go. I’m not trying to talk down on Hawaii or the locals here but I have noticed a few things. Every time I go out somebody is always looking to start a fight with us for no good reason. Then more locals decide to jump in and help their ” braddas” whether they know eachother or not. And the way people drive here…dont get me started. If this place is all about aloha then I would say the majority of the people I have met…arent doing a good job of sharing and spreading aloha.
