The North Shore
This house, on the north shore, is haunted. The woman that once lived here became so angry with her infant child that she killed him and buried him beneath the house. During the wee hours of the morning, a baby may be heard crying throughout the house; no one has yet found the source of the noise.

I’m from the mainland but i grew up in hawaii so i know what you guys mean by people from the mainland being complete morons. i would love to have a chance to go back and see the haunted places. infact, i believe my old house was haunted or my street. once i saw old hawaiian warriors marching down my street at like 2 in the morning. it was intense.
well just to let you guys know…not all haoles are idiots.most of them are.but not all of us.

Wow..this site was all about the haunting event now it turned out to be a “we blame you and we blame you!” kind of deal.Let me just put it out there for everyone…Hawaii is an awesome place, of course. We do have electricity and houses (that are made of bricks) and we do eat normal food just like everyone who lives in this world (well for some who doesn’t, you still eat SOMETHING) and we do follow state and federal rules and what not. I am part Hawaiian and proud, born and raised..but there are some places on our Islands that aren’t haunted, they’re just urban legends and some are even irrational, hysterical, and crazy events that you never know if it’s really real..until you investigate them yourselves. My brother and I, are forming an “paranormal” investigation crew and we are planning on going to sites that ARE haunted..if not, then we will definitely posts things up and let people know that it’s a fake.
Let me know if anyone (in Hawaii) are experiencing anything paranormal in their home or if anyone knows any TRUE facts about any ghost hauntings.
Sheena
P.S
If you do know a haunting somewhere that are fact and not a myth or an urband legend, please include the name of the siting (City only), your name, and who and where did you here the “paranormal” event from.

I am from the mainland and have been to Hawaii, and I must say that island culture is centered around all of the things that people here really struggle to understand and appreciate..

This goes to all the people that is or not physically living on the island. I.E. If you are living on the island cool and on the mainland no matter. The thing is YOU choose a maroon life on the island, ecape and see the world. I understand where all you guys are comming from, I grew up in Hawaii had good times and bad times. This web sight is not to bring HATE to the picture but, to bring people from across the U.S. together to share true haunting stories of one another’s state. The sad thing is WE Hawaiians brought it among our selves to be ignorrant, stupid and above all UNEDUCATED! So if you really think you are EDUCATED then stop the FRICKIN IGNORRANT BULLSHIT! To the people of my island I respect your stories and continue to tell them. The paranormal is a thing that needs to be well investgated, especially in Hawaii. I once lived in Haunted House in Kalihi Valley a very messed up house it was.
Mahalo and Aloha To you All

Keoku, why blame the Samoans? what about the Philipinos? Micronesians? Chinese? lol ur too funny i’d say 75 percent of the people living on the beach are hawaiians? You got some nerve to side with the haoles…. Aren’t your People trying to drive them off from the island? (Kauinoa) lol… and for the rest of the people trying to put in their two cents.. i won’t take your lime light .. because this is the only place you’ll ever get to shine… ha! Aloha All my Local Kane & Wahine:
How disturbing to visit this site expecting to find interesting facts about haunted homes in our islands & find instead message after message of people stating misinformation and personal attacks. Silly. There is racial tension where ever you go. I am born & raised here and have no problem with non-residents who come to visit, leaving their preconcieved notions at home. There is poverty and drug abuse throughout the nation. If you can’t be a part of the solution then shut-up. Kristy, you sound so angry? Some of what you say is true, not much! I appreciate people who come to visit our islands. I live in Makaha. There are many tourists who visit and I have met lots of wonderful people I still maintain friendships with.
There is no way you could comprehend the feelings of our kupuna(elders)to see their mo’opuna leave our home because the cost of living is so high here. I am educated and despite my education would like to digress for a moment to invite you to Waianae Mall at your convenience. Perhaps you would like to express your opinions face to face. E komo Mai. I grew here, you flew here. Malama Pono

Aloha,
I have personally been to North Shore.
This is not true.
While I was there I got to experience the rich culture of ancient Hawaii. Many Hawaiian people now live in VERY nice houses. They don’t live in grasshuts.
That is just a sterotype given to them by mainlanders.
Mahalo.
