I had my engagement party there in the new party room that used to be the basement. I have also wandered around the place by myself because my aunt is good friends with the manager. I hate to ruin it for people but I have seen ghosts in my life at least 4 or 5 times and I know it was real, but I have not yet seen anything or felt anything in this place. I really do not feel it is haunted and I went there hoping to see something. I am usually sensitve to this stuff…but like I said… nothing.

We are paranormal investigators and are planning a trip to Bermuda the first week in May. Are carry with us equipment consist of EVP recorder, night vision HD video recorders, EMF meters, Boom mike recorders, tempter recorders and the like. Using scientific methods we have managed to record both apparitions and voices that to this day can not be debunked by other professional investigators. Our plans are to visit the Bermuda Inn, equipment in hand. Are there any other places that we can investigate with out breaking the law or trespassing on privet property?

It’s the Old Section of the OBI that is Haunted. It’s nothing to to with the basement or the second floor of the new section. It’s one of the back parlor rooms.

I live near the Old Bermuda Inn, and I can tell you first hand that it is haunted. The story about the lady waiting for her husband to return from war is tru, but what most people don’t know is that she was eventually informed that her husband was killed. That night she threw herself out of the highest window and died. On certain night’s you can hear her crying and then you hear a scream. If you look at the floor below the window, usually the dust/dirt is kicked up at the spot where she would have landed, right after you hear the scream. This is usually followed by her apparition moving from the spot on the floor, back towards the house (but it soon dissapears.) A lot of people on Staten Island have seen this, or at least heard about it – I heard the scream one night – but I didn’t see anything.

this might be off topic but my fiance and i had a weird experience a couple of days ago. we were just getting ready for bed and my fiance told me she couldnt sleep so i told her to face me so i could hold her and put her to sleep. as she turned to me we both heard a raspy voice say WHY…..WHY. we stood so still then after about 2 minutes or so i decided to get up and in the apartment it was so hot. i opened my bedroom door and saw her mother laying on the couch she must have fallen asleep watching tv. as i walked closer to her i started feeling so cold and this heavy feeling on my chest. it looked like she wasnt breathing at all. i ran back to my room and told my fiance to go check her it took us five minutes to wake her up it was the scariest s**t i ever experienced. i told this to my co workers they didnt believe me im a strong believer of the paranormal and my fiance and i know what we heard

I live about 10 minutes from the Old Bermuda Inn and I have been there for many parties and family gatherings, it is 100 % NOT haunted.

Okay, the Old Bermuda Inn is indeed haunted. I’ve been there for many family parties and gatherings. If you go in the elevator after midnight, yes there is a force in there. The lights flicker and it takes a long time to get from the second to 1st floor. Also, the bathroom on the seocond floor deffinatly has the old women there, expecially at night, make sure you never go to the bathroom alone there, literally, because the stalls are like little rooms, and that ghost doesnt care if youre peeing or what not. .she will make the little hairs on the back of your neck stand right up. I also live by it, and myself and many other people whom reside on staten island will tell you, it is haunted, and that lady did kill herself and she is still in that building.

Thats only part of the story. In 1814 a there was a lady named Mary (Bloody Mary). One day her husband had to go to war every night she lit a candle. A few days later she stoped eating. She died on the stairwell.

I was there once a long time ago for a friend’s Bah Mitzvah, and after reading what people have said I am recalling seeing a portrait of a lovely young woman there and being oddly captivated by it. I went upstairs just to explore and I definitely had an odd feeling and didn’t like the way the area made me feel.
