O shocks!! I thought you guys were Bermudians, talking about some haunted place in Bermuda. But then I scrolled up and I saw that it’s some place in Newyork. I’m doing some 900 word essay for my English class and I’m trying to find enough websites and information for my Bermuda ghost topic, but JEESH!! This isn’t a place in Bermuda. O well. *sigh* I believe in ghosts, though. And I really want to see a ghost!!! But I don’t want to be scared out of my mind.

This is true because I know pleanty of people who have had experiences in the old part of the building because that is the location where Martha haunts the restaurant. Both me and my mom had experiences where lights flickered on and off 3 times and plates being thrown against the wall.

I went to the Bermuda Inn yesterday to grab some external photos as I’m looking to include this in my next book, “Ghosthunting New York City”. What would have been the original structure is so buried within the cheesey “Bermuda pink” massive reception hall addition. It’s possible activity, if there truly is any, may have kicked up when the addition was being built, but I can’t say for sure until I get to interview some employees there, if they’re even open to being interviewed. My fiance and I have just booked the old wing for our wedding next May. I have been there before but did not experience anything. Both of us are believers and we hope that we would have some sort of activity there or have a picture with some evidence of the ghost. Wish us luck!!!!

This is a real haunting! Me and my friend snuck up to the original part of the inn and there were several rooms. I looked in the room right in back of the staircase and I saw as clear as day an apperition of a woman in a white dress and she had tears down her face and she looked at me and said “Where’s my husband?”

i have been there myself and i have seen an apparition in the glass door. this story is very tragic actually.

I’ve since been to the Old Bermuda Inn, interviewed employees, taken pics, thermal scanned, tried to get EVPs and video taped. Granted it was broad daylight, but that was the best time as the restaurant was not open for dining so I didn’t have to contend with patrons in the way. There is something of a haunted energy or feel to the original structure & my son’s camera incurred an odd malfunction in one of the rooms upstairs. I’d like to hear from other paranormal investigators as to their results when here.

i had my batmitzvah there and we went into the balcony room and we saw the rocking chair moving and we felt someone brush by us and there was only two of us

My house is haunting

Let me be first to say that story is 100% true. I live near and my dad told me the story of how the lady killed herself because her lover died and there’s videos of a women outline walking down the stairs and right into the wall so all u people need to look into the story

I had my Sweet 16 at the Old Bermuda Inn, it ended on Halloween night at around 2 in the morning. The owner’s of the Old Bermuda gave me the pamphlet on the history of it. It really is a very sad story. They told me she was lighting the candles that are in the windows, so now at night when they close they leave the candle lit for her. I was freaked out the night of my sweet 16 which now seems like ages ago, but I did not see, hear or feel anything strange. Although one thing happened that to me was kind of frightening. I had a photographer for the party and he drove me crazy, he wanted me to take a picture in front of the fire place. I noticed that it was right below the picture of the woman (if memory serves me correctly I believe her name was Sarah). The wierdest part was when I got my pictures back, I noticed that I was standing in the exact same spot that she was, our dresses were pretty similar and our hair was almost exactly alike, even with the curl in front. That picture still sends chills up my spine.

okay well the old bermuda inn is really haunted. because where it is haunted there are offices so no one is allowed up there. those people that have those offices say that they get the chills. but anyway the real story is ( the story that the worker told me) that the old bermuda inn a long time ago was actually a woman’s home. her husband went off to war and never came back. she waited for him and waited and waited and eventually she either killed herself in the house or died in the house, i dont remember. but anyway they say where she died upstairs is where its very cold and you know that there is someone present. there is the real story from a native staten islander herself.

i forgot to mention that there is actually a portrait in the old bermuda inn of that woman. i saw it and right behind that portrait is the room where she was standing when the artist painted that portrait, so you know it is true.
