I grew up with those tracks running through our property and while I do not think the story is accurate or based on anything that actually happened, these tracks and the area around it does contain parnormal occurances. I believe this story was produced to explain very real experiences that all of the locals are aware of. On summer nights a womans scream is heard by the tracks. Often two boys are seen walking down the tracks within 30 minutes of the scream. No one really knows who they are but they do show up every summer. Sometimes the are preceded by the sound of a steam engine train – whistle and all – no train can be seen.

now that is something i have expierienced. my younger cousin was walking along a railroad track and all of a sudden the tracks shifted and the train went dont the track he was on. when they found him, every bone located on his back was smashed. exept for his leg bones, arm, and spine bones. the body parts were thrown off his body from the impact.

ok this doesnt make any since.why would the boys sit there long enough in a bush for there mother to search around and finally be conviced they were dead and then when she is a bout to commit suicide just like they wanted they jump out of a bush. there just stupid. this thing is probly fake any way.

this story is not true if the boys were hiding where they could see the mother they wouldnt let get run over by a train and why would the mother just give up looking for her kids and think ” oh no I cant find my boys guess ill just lay down and get run over by a train now” That stupid

yeah i live in racine wisconsin. there seems to be a lot of paranormal activities in wisconsin. i’ve always wanted to see ghosts myself.

Does anyone know which house on Hwy 54 in Plover has the little girl upstairs asking you to play the piano? I used to live in Wis Rapids and always passed a Green abandoned house right before the intersection of Hwy 54 and B each time I passed the house more No Trespassing signs were posted. I agree, the story sounds awful fishy to me. come on, why would the mother lay in front of the train ? If a mother was looking for her children, she would not think to died instead.
I think it some folklore to scare kids or whatever. They should had done it better, then what been going around.

So i was looking at this place and me and a couple of friends wanted to go to it…is it worth it or no? We have been to a lot of “haunted” places. like Paradise RD in Jefferson but nothing happened there either.
