The Red House
In 1911, a man and his fiancee lived in this house. On the night before their wedding, the two got into a fight and the woman was pushed down the stairs; she died. The man then buried his would-be-bride behind the house. It is said that if one passes her grave, he will sometimes see the woman in a white grown floating around the area.

She would have broken her neck or cracked her skull.
In 1911, unmarried men and women didn’t live together.

I have never known anyone to fall down stairs and break their necks, it’s basically just the arms or legs. Why are the women ghosts always wearing white dresses?

Some how, i don’t think this is real, only because it doesn’t say anything about actual sightings or hauntings…or maybe i’m just being paranoid, i have no idea

Sorry, I really don’t think that this thing is real, only because it doesn’t say anything about any actual sightings or hauntings of the woman. Or maybe I’m just being weird…I don’t know.

This Story is true… I visited this House… I lived Next to this house… Artesia was Once known as Dairy Valley.. big farm Land. and Railroad Station.. The railroad was recently removed… The Man and woman were actually cleaning the house that was a gift to them from the mans father. and she was not buried in the back yard, Her Ghost appears on the window in the back part of the house. wearing a white dress… we have Documented this location many times, after 2003 we stopped noticing any Activity…

I heard of this a long time ago…….about 25 yrs ago I believe it even came out in the news..There was alot of activity going on in this house unless there was another one in Artesia CA..My Parents lived in the city of Artesia where I was actually born and talked about it when I was small, but my mother does not remember where this house is at.
