The Rosino’s House
This house is said to be haunted by two different ghosts. One man appears to be the present owners father. He has allegedly been seen holding his great-granddaughter in an upstairs window. A grayish-smoke like figure has also been reported to pass through people in the home’s kitchen. As the basement was being renovated, an unexplained swastika was found built into the linoleum floor. There were also large amounts of very old ammunition located in the ceiling.

OK all of you… These stories are true, and there are even things starting to happen here again. I have lived in this house for over 40 years, and I can tell you that my grand father WAS holding my daughter and 2 of my friends saw it from outside. I have no idea how any of this actually got on the internet because these were all unrelated incidents over a period of 6-8 years and were experienced by 5 or 6 different individuals who don’t actually know each other. The stuff we found in the house was when I was a little girl, so I really have no idea who even knows about that, at all! It’s really baffling to me that all of these incidents are here, but none of the more recent ones. Like the things right now that are happening on the third floor… noises, things moving and cold spots in my daughter’s room that move from place to place…shadows, etc… My cats seem to stare at things on the walls and the ceiling that when we look there is nothing there. Anyway, yes “beemis” (I know who you are, lol), you did stay here and nothing was really going on here then… yes it is in Lynbrook… yes we would be open to investigation if it is by professionals, not silly wanna-bes who just want to look around… no we don’t want people “touring” or “visiting”, because things don’t happen on cue, when you want them to. Like last night, I had to “chase” something out of my daughter’s room on the third floor. We think it may be related to her friend who died recently. It’s ok, though, because we have lived with this all of our lives, so it’s normal day-to-day stuff for us. No, it’s not scary, it’s just what happens here. The only one who is scared is my daughter who hasn’t had many things happen and really doesn’t like it happening in her room… it never really did that before, it was always down in the main house. Anyway, we are listed in the book and we screen our calls, so leave a message with your number and someone will call you back if you are serious. There are more than 1 Rosino in Lynbrook, so make sure you call the one on Washington Ave. We are open to discussion and investigation.

Why do people question what they don’t know…I have lived in a house with unexplained paranormal things going on and unless you experience it for yourself obviously you will question it. just because you haven’t gone through it don’t mean it don’t exist. if it didn’t exist then people wouldn’t be experiencing it and that’s why people keep it to themselves…and it seems that the people of this place didn’t even know that their place was on the internet and don’t care to have nonbelievers question them! So go on with your life and leave these people alone…its annoying to them and people that have actually have had unexplained things happen to them!
