The Spanish Governor’s Mansion
When this building was renovated, the skeleton of a woman was found. Apparently, the woman had been raped and killed by a mob of Spanish soldiers. Since the discovery of the skeleton the woman’s spirit has been said to haunt the premises.

Here is a website about it. The Governor’s Palace is located right behind San Fernando Cathedral in the heart of downtown San Antonio.

I have heard of the Goveners Palace which is by the Alamo but I have never heard of the Governors Mansion. Interesting story. I have heard similiar stories when an old building is remodeled it can provoke the dead that once lived there.

Okay, guys look. The reason they knew she was raped was because they get anthropologists, hope i spelled it right.. and they examine the pelvis and check for scraped and such. And maybe they DIDN’T notice there were being haunted before. Maybe they thought it was just nothing, and then when the body was exhumed, they were more alert. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. -It:)
