Ok,I live in monroe and yes the cops do drive around there. As far as seeing the lady i never have but for you people who say you see her all the time is just crazy. She may be there and if she is it would probably be very rare to see her. The cemetary is actually on the easton/monroe line

I’m all about this union cemetery!! I live in Norwalk and never heard of this place until a few weeks ago. So I’ve been looking up all the info I can online and I want to go there. The problem is I don’t think I can get out of the car and start walking around a freaking cemetery at night!! I would go in numbers though. So if anyone has any plans on going there please include me as I will be checking this website regularly.
I want to see this “White Lady”.

Hey Scott, My name is Ralph. I’m not quite sure about local places that are “accessible”. From what I gather, there are lots of places in Connecticut that are haunted because CT is an older state. I am not by ANY MEANS a paranormal investigator…just someone whose facinated with this stuff and is thoroughly entertained by it. My fiancee is a bit freaked out since our visit to Union Cemetery. She swears that strange occurences have been happenening to her since we went to that place. To answer your question, I think Stepney is a different place than Union Cememtery. From what I read, there is a 9.3 mile stretch between Stepney and Union where the “White Lady” appears and people “hit” her with their cars. There’s never any damage to the cars and even Police officers and Fire Fighters have witnessed some strange stuff themselves…even “The White Lady”…but are embarrassed to admit what they saw. I would love to go with you and your sister to check out some of these haunted places in CT that I always hear about. I know we don’t know each other and I’m not some type of weirdo (lol) so if you ever wanted to go to one of these “places”, I’m in. I don’t think I can get my fiancee to cave due to the fact that she swears she has seen strange lights in her room since our trip to Union three separate nights. I don’t know why she “tortures” herself by continuing to watch T.A.P.S. last night…then sleeps with the lights on!! hehe! too funny! I do have kinda a weird story I just heard about Union recently though….
Someone I know told me a story where he and his friend (whom lives in Easton/Monroe area) were driving down the road towards Union Cemetery a few years ago having a very nonchalant, hum drum conversation. The content of the converstaion was nothing specific (and NOTHING saddening or dreadful by any means) when all of a sudden my friend eyes started flowing with tears. And not as if he was cryind due to sadness, but he eyes just started FLOWING UNCONTROLLABLY!!! He said the tears were just pouring out of his eyes so much so that his friend (the Easton local kid) looked over at him in disbelief but didnt ask him why that was happening. They both sat in silence until they passed the cemetery. Then suddenly the water works just ABRUPTLY stopped. The local kid is kinda a “Holy Roller” where he comes from a strictly stern Catholic backround. When he finally asked my friend what his deal was, my friend couldn’t give him ANY EXPLANATION. The Easton kid started blaming it on “evil” **** at the cemetery, saying it was the devil yatta yatta. My friend didn’t even want to go down that “religified” path into a conversation that would have wrecked this cool senario. So he just let it go. This friend of mine is also into the paranormal, but only as deep as I probably get. Halloween is my favorite Holiday! We always see Lorraine Warren around that time for one of her Halloween “seminars”. We LOVE horror flicks, and ALWAYS go to all the fun haunted houses around that time. But as to the extent of paranormal research, not so much. When my fiancee and I hear and see that kinda stuff we chalk it up to, “Wow! That’s pretty cool $h!t! Wish we could’ve seen more!!!!” That’s about it. I am also Catholic although I disagree with lots of what the Church has to say. So I try to keep an open mind when it comes down to this kinda stuff!! I don’t dig the demonic $h!t at all! That **** scares me! That’s also a whole new ball of wax and even though it’s mesmeriziing characteristics are pretty AMAZING, that’s NOT my game!! Yes I know we’ve been to both of the cemeteries down that way, I think I may have gotten them confused…Stepney is the one near the church right? Is that also known as Union cemetery? Did you know Ed Warren is buried there. My sister and I have been lucky every time we’ve gone down there no cops to bust us….I think I’m mixed up with the two cemeteries…anyway they are both very active and like I said each time we’ve gone I’ve gotten cool pics….havn’t been there since the summer my sister wants to investigate an old house or someplace else that may have paranormal activity. Do you know of any where that people go to investigate without getting in trouble? I enjoy going to different cemeteries but we want to get inside somewhere. Thanks

Hey Scott… I do not have a FACEBOOK account but I have friends who do so I will try and visit that way. Union Cemetery is at the junction of Stepney Highway and Sport Hill Rd. in Easton, Connecticut. It rests at a fork in the road. The cemetery is tiny as Hell and be careful because they have a cop who sits there often and busts EVERYONE for tresspassing!! Write me back and let me know

Hey RoKK StaRR cool story of your trip to the cemetery….my sister and I have been there several times, do you have a facebook account? I have pictures on there from the cemetery as well as the other cemetery down the street past Monroe Muffler…my name is Scott Thieringer if you would like to see my pics just log on to Face book and look me up…as far as the energy at the cemetery it is definetly not evil or demonic so your friend has nothing to worry about. In fact I did some provoking to the white lady and that’s when I got all of my cool pics and nothing has happened to myself or my sister…we just like going there it’s a hobby we really love. Try going back and do some provoking and see what may happen…you may get some really cool results and also leave your feelings open and invite the spirit of the white lady to show herself…happy ghost hunting

My Fiancee and I just visited Union Cemetery in Easton, CT 2 weeks ago for the VERY FIRST TIME at 3:45 a.m. (45 minutes past DEAD HOUR)! It was really creepy and a PERFECT setting for all the legends and ghost stories!! Unfortunately, We did NOT see the White Lady, although we did take 26 digiital pictures in which 18 of the were completely covered in ORBS!! It was pretty facinating! One of them even had white mist in the very corner of it. The really freaky thing was 3 days later, my girlfriend was having trouble sleeping and at 5:10 a.m., she saw what she described as a small dim light (the size of a ping pong ball) dance across her room with 3 short hops (approximately shoulder height) and then disappear. We asked some friends who are DEEP into the whole paranormal thaaang and they said it is possible to bring “stuff” home with you after entering a highly sensative/active paranormal place like this. They said spiritual energies are naturally attracted to human energy and sometimes “connect” through a casual encounter. Then, NOTHING for four more days…then all of a sudden on the FIFTH day, a very similar occurance happened with a different “crystal/sparkly” light. Nothing NEGATIVE or EVIL, but rather kind of neat. Since then, she has seen nothing…and I, myself, haven’t seen a DAMN thaaang!! We are NOT hardcore into the paranormal world…just enjoy shoes like T.A.P.S./Ghost Hunters/ Ghost Lab yatta yatta and our FAVORITE holiday is Halloween! That’s all! Has anyone ever heard od anything like I described? I still don’t think it to be a big deal, but she’s a little nervous! hehe! I told her that maybe we should start our OWN Ghost Chasing show on DISCOVERY CHANNEL!! hehe! Write me back if anyone understands what I’m saying! Thanks -RoKK StaRR

I’m sorry for posting twice in a row and being a tad annoying, but will some of you please read a map? Even the people who live in Monroe don’t know that Union is clearly in Easton? It is not “definitely in Monroe” as many of you have stated. As I recently divulged, I lived in Easton for three-quarters of my life, and still live there to this day. I passed that cemetery every day on my way to high school, back when I was in high school. I have a childhood friend who lives right across the street, next to the house with the multiple car garage. I believe the house is green, but don’t quote me on that. I mean, you all should know if you actually visited there instead of making up these stories as I suspect some of you have. Others I believe, but some are just not credible. I just want proof, and that’s something no one has offered so far. Make me a believer, because twenty years of seeing nothing has made me think I will never see anything.
