Real Haunted House

Thearosa’s Bridge

Wichita, Kansas

When this area was first being settled, a woman named Thearosa lived near this bridge along with her children. Though the exact details are unclear, Thearosa eventually killed her children and then herself. Today, she haunts the bridge. The weather on the bridge is never the same as anywhere else in town. The bridge has also been set on fire several times; investigations reveal nothing.

So….. I heard that Thearosa worked at Victoria’s Secrets. One night after work on her way home…. She was wearing some of the “products” and one of the ghetto bangers with his pimped out ride and bling-bling wheels, flagged her down on the bridge. She stopped and got out of the car to see if he needed some help. He stole her baby that was made of gold. She was so angry about it that she crawled under the bridge and still awaits for the ghetto banger to come back with her golden baby.

Don’t ever cross the bridge with a ghetto car and bling-bling wheels. She’ll throw your car off the bridge! FoShizzle.

I never been to this bridge or heard about it till I went to a websight looking up haunted places in Kansas, I was wondering the EXACT directions to it. There’s also a place in Ark City about an hour from Wichita it’s called Spooky Hollow. It’s a really creepy place it has two grave yards there. One you can only go in during the day one you can’t go in at all because it’s so haunted.I’ve been in the one you can only go in during the day but i’ve gone in there at night. I’ve seen things and heard things. We threw a ciggarette bud down and something hit the truck very hard. My friend went out of the truck by himself and was grabbed very hard. Some people say you can see a old man smoking a cigarette by the tree. But anyways, that’s not all about Spooky Hollow. There’s places out there called “CRY BABY BRIDGE, DEVILS WALLS, SNAKE HILL” When I went on Cry Baby Bridge my friend said he saw a woman in the back ground and heard axes hitting trees. Another told me he stopped in the Devils Walls and heard chains on the hood. There’s also a 90degree turn out there that supposely at exactly 1:10am your car will die because along time ago abunch of teens wrecked there going to fast and died. But if you can give me the EXACT ways to get to this bridge OR want to know more about Spooky Hallow email me baby_angel912@hotmail.com make sure you put something about ghosts or Spooky Hallow on it so I don’t erase it. Kay thanks.=]

It is the one in Valley Center. I live there and have gone there a couple of times with my friends. I have heard some pretty scary stories about what happens there, but have not personally experienced anything happening.

you all realy want to know the true story? Between the 1840’s and 1870’s a spanish 14 year old young woman at the time (average age) to be married got in the family way. father did not approve and mother being both woman and spanish did not have any say-so. Father which was from europe hated native americans went to kill father and did.The fathers tribe then took vengence and killed baby by skalping father of baby first then drowning baby and then she through depresion hung herself!!

It’s on google street maps! Just go west on 109th it’s the first bridge over jesters creek. With all the graffiti. We went last night, on Halloween. It was crawling with loosers. It was very lame. But generally creepy out there in the middle of bumblefuck kansas

it’s easier if you just go north on 135 toward salina, take a right on take exit 19 for 101st Street, go left on 101st Street for about 2.5 miles, turn right at N. Meridian and go about a mile, then turn left at 109th Street and it’ll be just after that.

I used to live about a mile and a half from the bridge. I went over it at least twice a day every day. The old bridge is up the creek a bit. Several years ago on halloween I went up there with a bunch of people, we stood on some concrete that went through the water and all said “Thearosa where is your baby?” We didn’t really see anything so we started to walk out. On the way out I saw lots of little orb type things, but that was it. Another time I was going home with my sister and you had to go over the bridge to get to our house. We were going slow over the bridge and out of no where, about in the middle of the bridge, my sisters truck died. It wouldn’t restart for anything. We pushed it off the bridge out of the way to go home, and I decided to try one last time and it started right up. We sped across the bridge and went home. The cops tend to watch the bridge a lot though. So if you go up there don’t be surprised if the cops come out and tell you to leave.

I have been twice. The first time, we got out of the car, and left the doors open so if some **** went down, we could get the **** out of there. Well, we finally leave, and there are spiders everywhere. The second time, nothing.

Me and my friends went out there the other night. We didnt really think it was haunted. Just another story.. but we were wrong. WAY wrong. We drove out to the bridge and said “thearosa i have your baby” 3 times, nothing happened. We drove across the bridge and came back around and stopped on the bridge again, and said it again 3 times and saw a white light off into the wooded area near the bridge and drove off pretty scared. We drove away about 5 miles and decided to go back. We stopped in the middle of the bridge and said it again. 9 times. We started hearing a lady crying or screaming (couldnt really tell) and we put the truck in reverse and spun out backwards and did a 360 and almost went into a ditch, my friends foot wasnt on the pedel. The truck shut off and wouldnt start for around 3-5 minutes. When it did finally start we left and didnt look back.

It is true. Me and my friends went. I stepped out of the car said Thersoa i have your baby 3 times. Nothing happened at first then I saw a black shape coming towards me. Jumped in the backseat saw a black shape against the window and after we drove off we stopped at a gas station saw handprints going down towards the trunk. And on the trunk their were more handprints. I believe she is there.
