Tobacco Farmer Murdered
The former owner of this house, a tobacco farmer, was killed by an employee while smoking a cigar. Today, he haunts the house; he moves objects, turns the shower on, and even swings in the children’s swing set.

OMG I went there!! When you walk in there you can smell cigar smoke, but it goes away after a minute. I also saw the swings on the swingset swinging. It was sooo freaky!!!

okay, so the guy that said, he has been to this house and smelt the cigar…you’re a lying sack of ****…its my house 15 Whitcomb Dr. which does happen to be across the street from a tobacco plantation but we had some college kids come here to interview us, and it was the first we had ever heard of it…never noticed anything in this house.

i know that this is a real story, the mansion it is located on the south of the city, and you can see the skeleton on the freaky museum at the downtown, and you can see all sperm of the spanish soldiers, i think this woman like it after all, that is why she is now asking for more, the ghost can have orgys

the story is a little freaky but don’t u think a grown man would not be on the swings?? maybe a child was killed there and there are 2 ghosts?!?!? omg that would even be creepier. but seriously a man who smokes weed would not swing on a swing set

I don’t know about any tobacco farmer but my half brother’s sister was murdered by her husband before her husband killed herself. Her son, Max, called his mom before she came home and said that the husband was scaring him and he asked her to come home. So Lori went home and he was waiting for her in the kitchen…when she saw that he had a gun she yelled for Max to get out of the house, but then he turned the gun on him and told him not to move. Max stood there and then Lori pushed her husband and the husband grabbed her and put the gun to her head. Before he shot her she yelled for Max to get his brother and leave. As Max was running up the stairs to get his brother he heard two shots, one for Lori and one for Shawn, the husband. Anyways, I saw Max to see how he was doing and he told me that he was ok because mommy watches over him. I asked him what he meant and he told me that Lori is still with him and he can see her. I tried telling him that it was just his imagination, but then I saw something that I will never ever forget. As we were leaving, me and his brother were waiting for him to leave the bedroom that he is staying in I head him talking. So I went up there to tell him to move his butt because we were going to be late when I saw his jacket move from the hook on the back of the door to his hands. I stood there in total disbelief when he leaned his head up and make a pucker like he was kissing someone. I just went downstairs because I was scared but then in the car he told his brother, Mommy wants me to give this to you, and he kissed his brother. All I know is what I saw and I am a believer now.

I’ve lived in Simsbury my whole life, however I have never heard this story and am curious in what house did this occur (I can only assume its the large main house on county road next to the employee lodging) Please confirm if you can? I do know about 10 years ago an employee of Culboro tobacco company killed his ex girlfriend and buried her body in the tobacco fields behind my families street’s. However I’ve spend countless days out there in the same exact area and have never seen anything although some of the older barns are a little creepy but not much else to them.
