Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Tulsa University

Tulsa, Oklahoma

After completing a team-building ropes course, a resident advisor induced her death by overdosing on medication; she left the phone off the hook. Residents of this dorm allege that their telephones are taken off the hook during the middle of the night; the noise wakes them.

Monica…..which house is it at 91st and Aspen? I’m really familiar with the area, so I’m very curious. How did you get in? Was it just open?
Some friends and I want to go look for haunted places this weekend and I’m trying to find some in Tulsa.

I go to the University, and have never heard about this. What dorm was it? I’ve also heard rumors of the sorority houses, including mine, being haunted. Does anyone know anything about that?

I am a native Califonian and I can tell you. We used to live in a haunted house in Long Beach. A husband and wife used to live there and he thought that she was cheating on him which she was not. One night when she came in from work, he shot her and then shot himself. It killed her instantly and he died in the hospital. When we moved into that house (it was actually a duplex) we did not know of the story but could just feel that something in the house did not feel right and you never felt like you were alone. It was just an eery feeling and kind of made your skin crawl! I would also feel very cool spots in the home. Like you would walk in a certain area of the home and it would just be very cold. We later found out what had happened and then me, my sister and my mother admitted to one another how the house made us feel and we all felt the same way but had never told each other. It was just weird. We moved shortly after. It was a cute little place to live and affordable at the time. Just freaky. We now live in a brand new home that we had built in 2003 and me and my boyfriend have heard what sounds like the television being on in the next room and when we actually wake up to where we are wide awake, you cannot hear it anymore. I know that it has happened though because when we hear it, the dogs will start barking. Also, sometimes inthe kitchen, one of my dogs will just stand there and stare at nothing with his paw raised up off of the ground like he sees something. I cannot see it though. Nobody has lived here except for us. I have not seen or heard anything other than that though and I feel good here. I do not feel like there is anyone or anything here with me. I do not quite get that one.

I have always had a strong desire to know more about the supernatural and the after life. Recently, my family and I went to Tombstone Arizonia on vacation. While there we went on a tour of The Bird Cage Theater and Boothill Cemetary. That place gave me goose bumps from the minute we stepped in the door of the Bird Cage. Downstairs in the card room there are several doors that open up into the “”Lady of the Nights”" rooms. You can look through the door panels but not enter the rooms. During our visit there I took a lot of pictures. In one of the pictures I took while there, we found two different ghosts faces in two different mirrors in the same room. One was a woman and one was a man. I did not see these images through the veiw finder while taking the pictures, but they sure jumped out at us when I printed them. Whats really weird is if it was a camarea glitch or printer glitch, would they have shown up on more than one picture taken at 2 different times from 2 different directions in the room? Well these two did. I recently seen Ghost Hunters **TAPS** visit this location and they stated it was one of the most haunted locations in the USA, with 1000’s of ghost reports made by visitors and employees. If you want to get the hebbie gebbies this is the place to go. Wish I could find some in Oklahoma like that. I would definately take the time to visit.
