About 10 yrs ago while hubby and I were going thru Belle Isle forest,About a mile from the end everything got quiet. It was the end of August my B-day. Birds singing and crickets cheerping, misquitos
buzzing,(window open no air conditioner) Light real bad, told Dan slow down, just as we hit a dip in the road. here comes a deer, red eyes at the side of the car (drivers side)about 10 feet away maybe less. The deer (she) walked slowly, and stopped and stared at us. We were raised country, deers don’t do that unless in a head light beam. She wasn’t paralized by the light, but she sure did paralize us. Told hubby get the heck outa Dodge!

In regards to the question of Grosse Isle hauntings, it has been said that a young lady who refused advances from her boss was pushed from his car catching her dress in the door and ultimately was dragged to her death. This was said to have happened on the road leading from the free bridge.

Hey that cemetery you are talking about near Bath, I think you mean Blood cemetery. I’ve heard stories about that one too.

I’ve seen this story on many web cites. Usually it is a little girl who was hit, and you hear her knocking on the bottom of your car if it is raining.

this story is bullshit, just a legend.
I use to meet a lot of people from around the world and everyone has the same story of the lady in a white dress in everycountry.

I wish we could post real story here and not legends.

This is actually a cemetary in Rochester Hills. I have done this before and it scared the daylights out of me. I parked my car in the cemetary with 3 other girls in it and turned off the ignition….wait for roughly 5 mins…a cold breeze, a light flicker, and then…my car began to shake with the slightest whisper “LLLEEEAAAVVVEEEE HHHEEEERRRREEE”.
