Real Haunted House

Follow Me

Detroit, Michigan

If a car is parked on a bridge located inside this park, turn the ignition off, and wait for a few minutes, an old woman in a white dress will appear. She will wave her hand for you to follow her into the woods. No documented account has been made of anyone ever following her.

The only thing in white you retards ever saw on Belle Isle in Detroit was one of the 13 or 14 white ,(YES ‘WHITE’ ALBINO) white-tailed deer that run rampant all over the Island . My friends & I used to hang out in those woods & on the bridges over the streams through the woods & got chased several times by deer including the albino ones .

Don’t go out there looking for the lady in white at night-time anymore though because a few years back some coyotes as well as an elk or moose whatever bolted the fences at the nature center & roam the island . Not to mention some people like to kill people in Detroit and/or rape them & the woods might be a nice place for them to do that . Besides , I finally picked up that lady in white ghost & took her home . ***** is ugly as hell , but MAN can she cook !!!!!!

It is the tanglewood bridge on Belle Isle

I have worked for a wrecker service that serviced Belle Ise and have towed many cars from near that site.

Hey People y’all need to show down and learn how to spell. I’ve been there a few times (day & night) and never seen anything there like this. Although I do believe in life after death since the spirt has to go somewhere???? I too have many other stories like this from family members and friends. It does make one wonder what is really after death???? DENNIS

I was just down in Detroit at the ren. center for a convention. Sitting up on the 68th floor overlooking Belle Isle. wondering where this bridge is some say inward on the island (wooded area) and some say the main bridge to the island. One the waters ways on the island are to small to be hit by a speeding boat jumping off a bridge which is to low for a boat to go under (if it’s not a row boat). Same with the main bridge it too is to low for this. This is just another URBAN LEGEND. I really doubt that anyone was really there that’s how all urban legends are I heard from friend who’s family member was there who heard the same from another. Most stories are based on some fact but twisted by many story tellers as passed along any lenth of time. I don’t believe there is a lady in white on this island it’s just a spook story to scary teenagers. I’ve never heard this story before and I’ve been in the area for a while. DENNIS

For anyone interested and unfamiliar with Belle Isle, there are several small lakes on the island. The bridge with the white lady is the one by Lake Tacoma on the southwest side of the island by the Peace Tower and conservatory. I lived in Detroit for 21 years and knew the story. It is NOT the bridge leading to the island. I never witnessed any ghost in all of the years that I’ve been there, but there is definitly an evil presence in the wooded area on the other side of the island by the nature center. No mater what time of the day or time of year, I’ve always felt a cold spot and felt like I was in danger at this spot.
