Wal-Mart
In this building, that is now a Walmart, a woman was killed in an elevator crash. Many employees at the site have reported seeing a female apparition on the third floor of the building. There have been noises of stocked merchandise being knocked over on the floor, so many believe it is the ghost of the woman doing so.

I am currently employed at the GNC next to the Wal Mart. Due to that fact I have been to such Wal Mart many many a times. That place is evil, it is the Devil’s lavatory. It is always crowed, service is so horrible that the only logical explanation is the freaking store is possessed. Having said that let move on to my story, it was a rainy day and I needed to buy some gum, so generally I thought I should go to Wal Mart and get it. Thats when it happened, as soon as I walked in it was the most horrific, mind boggling, brain twisting, word rambling sight I have ever seen. It was so crowed, people were talking, yelling, shouting. Kids were crying on the floor, screaming out “MMMommmmmm, Mmmmonnnnnn!” The old people were complaining, people were passing out everywhere, the employees were nowhere to be found. And there it was on line number six the only register open…The oldest, grumpiest, decrepit, ringing out the customers. I could have sworn he was dead..Trust I’ve been to Hell, I’ve shopped at WAl Mart…

i was a department manager for this #2568 Panorama City Walmart for 2 years and this Walmart is definatley creepy. For those whom want to get up to the third floor and check it out, customers should not be able to get on to the 3rd floor since it holds all the stock, but every now and then they would forget to lock the elevators to keep the customers from going up there. There is also a 4th floor that associates have access to, which is where they would keep all thier fixtures if anything at all I would say the 4th floor is creepier than the 3rd. I never really experienced anthing really scary and I worked overnight alot stocking inventory and resetting the floor modulars. On the third floor I recall feeling a breeze out of no where every now and then. Also I recall someone calling my name and tapping my back, when I know there was no one really there. I am an not too superstitious so I did not let it get the best of me but I know that those little things did happen and none of my co-wokers were the cause. The fourth floor lookes like a scene from nightmare on elm street that is where the airconditioning units are kept and are semi- chained off by a fence and when the Broadway closed down that builded aparently housed some taggers which defaced the wall near the air conditioning units which was never painted over. During a few of the times when I worked overnight on modular settings we needed fixtures or pegs for the displays I would have to go up there and that was scary I also felt alot of anxiety like someone was watching and I needed to hurry up and get our of there quick. But again I never really saw anyone or anything concrete, I guess cuz I was not so submissive to it. But fact remains that is an old building and there is something creepy there.

Oh yea this Wal-Mart is creepy. Although it is always busy you still sense something while you are in there. The elevators are very creepy and the south east corner of the store is also dark and creepy. While in the elevator its weird no one speaks to each other all you hear is the sound of the old creepy elevator cables.

I have been to this walmart many times. So many people are here every day that I would not be able to stick around long enough to see anything. Its a crazed madhouse. I feel sorry for the ghost that stays there…
I would say better places are out there to haunt.

This is odd. I lived and went to High School in a near by city. Back in 1986 when I was a junior in HS, a boy in my class was at the Broadway (Wal-Mart), and he and some other kids were goofing off in the elevators. He thought it would be funny to climb into the elevator shaft from inside the elevator and when he did the elevator started upwards and the tention weights were coming down and crushed him to death. Its public knowledge with the city and the accident should be on file. The boy’s name was Durell. Can’t think of a last name. I know some kids after HS used to say they would go to the Broadway and call out his name in the elevators and sometimes hear someone answer…. I dunno……
