I have been to the Whaley Mansion many times. This is different from the Whaley House, which is the orphange. You can get a tour of the Whaley Mansion, or rent it for a small wedding or luncheon. It is a beautiful home, but I have never experienced anything paranormal there.

I took my son here last summer as a sort of paranormal investigation. When we got there the house was closed. They only have certain hours for tours. The gentleman was nice enough to let us go through on our own. It is a beautiful home. My son took a million pictures and we did feel an odd presence upstairs and in the downstairs parlor.

I’ve been in the Whaley House a couple of times for different events. I stole away both times and went up to the second and third floors and both times got the eerie feeling of being watched the whole time I was up there. Didn’t see anything, but there were places you’d walk through and the temperature would drop 10 degrees or more. Spooky!

Yes, The Whaley Mansion is in a nice part of town and is haunted. The Whaley Children’s Home is a completely different place and is in a kind of rough neighborhood.

Although there is access to this building, you can not just walk right in because the building is an orphanage. It does not surprise me that there is some type of paranormal activity because of alot of the children housed there has some form of emotional issues. And alot of the staff working there are known to be abusive towards the children.

when i found out a few weeks ago that there was a haunted whaley manision i cannot stop searching it and looking at stuff about it i so want to go there i have told my dad and everybody about it and they are all curious what it is like.i wanna go there is it still open for tours and stuff if so how much does it cost and stuff.

I stopped in at Whaley House last week to get details of the “Hauntings” I spoke with an employee who has worked there for several years. He said that he has never experienced anything, but that some visitors have reported feeling rather creeped out in one of the upstairs rooms.

In the ealy 1890′s a man who ws married to Mrs. Whaley’s sister, came there to live after his wife passed away. He became very dispondent, and tried to committ suicide by drinking mercury. He after some time, he appeared to be on the road to recovery, but died, none the less. It is his room that is said to be haunted.

But an even “more haunted” house in Flint is the Wright Building. It is an old Victorian style house that is said to be hauneted by several members of the Wright family. This location is now an office building for several lawyers. I stopped in there last year and spoke to several og the employees who related things that they have seen.

I have been to the Whaley mansion on a school field trip, i never really felt a pressence but it did feel creepy. You are aloud to go inside with a tour guide.
