Wiamea Lookout
Located at this lookout is an ancient burial ground. Around the grounds, there are many rocks that are not supposed to be taken. If one drives up the road to this lookout, he will count ten road bumps. Upon return, however, only seven will be counted.

For Chongabelle:
You go girl! thats all I can say. I know I used to be a skeptic and I am FROM HAWAII. The things I experienced WERE real and had NO “scientific” explanation. People like the Debbie or Debster are just ignorant and jealous of a culture they are not accepted into or familiar with. All you can do for those people is feel deeply sorry and hope that one day they will become more open minded.

This is to debbie…I don’t use all that slang and I believe. I have even experienced quite a few things myself. If you don’t believe then you are ignorant. But just because one chooses to use a lot of slang does not mean that ghosts do not exist. Don’t characterize an entire group by just a few people.

Chongabelle:
I was at the volcano on the big island last summer and you were allowed to walk up to the volcano AT YOUR OWN RISK. The road, like you said, was blocked off and security was there. But, they allowed you to pass under the understanding that you have been warned and if something happens to you, only you are resposible….basically…so you can’t sue anyone if you are dumb enough to go up there.
Just thought I would clear that up!

I was workin on some stuff and the lights are off, ohhh no big deal cause I go down there a lot. well its nice and warm down there like it always is ok so no big deal. well all the sudden I get this cold breeze across my arm all my body hair just stood up out of no where. well there are no a/c around me so i was kinda like WTF was that? kinda got spooked out and locked the pc up and went back up. told some people what happened and they said that this building had some people die in it back when pearl harbor happened… needless to say I NEVER have seen a ghost but that was just a little toooo freaky for me. this stuff about pali highway and the lookout, well I have been there many times at night with pork and never seen anything… peace peoples

I’m from hawaii…i don’t know if this particular legend is true but i do know that from growing up on the island of oahu, that these islands are a very spiritual place. I just wish that the people posting comments from hawaii would use proper english. People already think we’re uncivilized people…don’t give them any more reason to think so by using words like “bra” and “cuz” in your comments.

Hawaii is a state of mind where the supernatural is a respected fact of life, even the nonbelievers. Spirits in Hawaii abound. The beauty of the true locals, of different ethnic backgrounds, is they have learned to live with one another’s cultures, and understand, appreciate the beliefs and differences.
The world can learn from this.
As for the pidgin English, keep rockin’ with it. It’s great that we have a language that only we understand.

Yeah there is a lookout up above pupukea, yes it has many supernatural things happening. Who cares if some of you don’t believe, I do and I know stuff around Oahu is real. I grew up on an ancient Hawaiian/Menehune trail at the base of mount olomana, this house we had to move from because it was so crazy haunted we couldn’t even sleep at night, I lived there for two years before we finally moved. I still freak out when I think about some of the stuff that happened there. If your not from Hawaii then come visit and leave your money, but don’t stay long because we don’t want your kind here any more then the ancestors do, and this is coming from a Haole born and raised local style.

TO EVERYONE:
to the CHONGABELL and DEBBIE situation…
….and all the Hawaiin people that just got so stupidly offended…..you guys……Debbie Never said “YOU HAWAIIN People” she said “You People” In other words all you true hawaiins who are freaking out…calm down. she was talking about those of you who were using bad grammar…not hawaiins…just everyone…Which…I agree, I can’t understand a word you say when you spell like a 2 year old….and for those of you who COULD understand it ….you are on the computer to often if you can understand such ****.
TO THOSE INTO THE “GHOST ARE REAL GHOST AREN”T REAL ****”
HELLLLOOOOO? you are fighting over the Living dead! I do believe that everyone is intitled to their own opinion and does not need to question ANYONE’s beliefs. SO STOP. It’s stupid. You would like respect just as much as the next guy i’m sure so get over what ever it is that just makes you wan’t to argue about it.
TO THOSE WHO ARE SAYING THAT JESUS BELIEVERS SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS SITE.
did you ever think that if Ghost were Real god could possibly have a reason for putting them there? Remember, we don’t know ALL the secrets of life yet, and now is no time to be questioning his will and plans for us.
THOSE OF YOU WHO FEEL THE NEED TO CUSS
You guys seriously sound like white trash fighting over something stupid. STOP CUSSING. It does not make you sound cool, or big, or wise, or make people back down. Actually it makes people fight more…which is probably what you wanted. but if you just wanna fight somewhere go somewhere else. THIS IS A SIGHT OF PURE OPINION. so move you somewhere else if you want to present your’s so strongly.
I am the wisdom giver and all I present is the truth. You all know I am right.

Hey kids,
calm down.
We all have our different perspectives of things. Some are believers, Some aren’t. We are not trying to shape your mind to make you believe, just simply telling our stories. If you aren’t interested, you don’t have to comment. Don’t diss a story because you want to act big; we all have our own beliefs. Keep the air positive people.
