Wiamea Lookout
Located at this lookout is an ancient burial ground. Around the grounds, there are many rocks that are not supposed to be taken. If one drives up the road to this lookout, he will count ten road bumps. Upon return, however, only seven will be counted.

They can’t “get me” if I don’t believe in them.
Give them they’re much needed “safety blanket” if they must have it.
For those of You commenting who have NEVER been to Hawaii..SHUT UP..YOU have NO IDEA of the things that happen here..and it is YOU who are exactly who we DON’T want here..running around with your Bravado angering forces that You have NO regard or respect for..stay under your blankets and tell yourselves how Brave you are..and stay Home…You’re SAFE there!!!

Hey everyone,
I live in Hawaii and have visited this particular site many times. The “speed bump” story is really popular but honestly, it has never happened to me personally. However, taking rocks from this sacred place is really disrespectful – imagine someone taking a part of your ancestors grave site. There are many stories of bad luck and hauntings following a person who takes from the Heiau. Believe what you will, but I would not recommend it….
