Witches Den or Circle
At this old fountain, witchcraft was practiced very regularly. Many dogs and cats were murdered during sacrifices; their howls and meows are still heard today. Also heard are the screams of cries of the murdered and of the virgins that were brutally raped.

stupid discussion.

In New Orleans we stayed at an old residence, I think it was called the La Mounth House. Pre-Katrina. It was on Esplanade St. near the end of Bourbon St. We rented a suite on the ground floor in front. We used our EMF meter and went around the room. It went up and down, not big deal. Then I set the meter down on a table in the middle of the room as there was no notable activity. We both sat on the side of the bed and began planning our day. Suddenly the EMF meter when off of the scale. It was screaming. It pegged the meter for a good minute. Then it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. I felt like someone was around us the whole time we were there.
We had been there since and stopped by the see Miss Kitty at the one of the bars off Bourbon (a Wyndham hotel or something) She is the bartender. While having a discussion about the area and it’s magical history I could have sworn that her eyes flashed red. This happened twice. Does anyone know what that means? or does Miss Kitty need medical attention?

This is rude and disgusting. NO witches raped virgins, killed animals or murdered people. They believed in treating people calmly. This is incredibly stupid and the owners of this site should be more responsible with rude stuff like this.

So many closed minds- when you close your mind you miss a chance to learn, but from the sounds of it, some would rather bray like the asses they are than take the time to learn or investigate. SantaRia came from the carribbean, had roots in voodoo, but went astray, they do sacrifice animals on their high holidays and other rites and celebrations. Witchcraft and wiccan have become almost interchangable in current times, they do follow the elementals and do not sacrifice animals or children,at this point I woulod offer up some politicians for sacrifice just to shut them all up.Ivan, try spell check,it will help you to not sound as stupid as you are,no mo pc- it is ritalin, not ridalin,Kaitlyn and some others- go play in rush hour traffic.
The fountain was demolished in a storm at the turn of the century, the story has taken some twists and turns over the years and occassionaly is updated. The original spot was down from the the french quarter,by where the park is now.If you could get to the town, there are records on microfiche and some have been moved to digital format.

Sacrificing anything is ridiculous! When you worship the earth as witches do, you value life, whether on a large scale or small. Animals are precious and shortlived at best- why kill anything or anybody for “worship” to anything or anyone? The gods or God who created the earth and everything on it, did so for the enjoyment of its inhabitants. The creatures, humans included, deserve to live in harmony and peace.PEACE!
