Woodland Grand Theater
Long ago in this theater, a man named George and his dog would come and see a movie in theater three every week. When George died of a heart attack, he and his dog continued to frequent the theater. It has been said that George was seen in the projection booth and that he would turn lights on and off. Others have reported hearing his dog bark loudly. Though the theater is now torn down, there have been reports of a ghost dog walking around the site.

I just recently moved to michigan. Its a gorgeous state, but the house I live in is over 100 yrs old. My family and I have experienced weird stiuations. We believe there is only one ghost in our house. My 12 yr. old daughter thinks its a woman. She is a friendly one. One day we went to the beach in Holland, we came back and as we opened our front door the piano in an upstairs room began to play. We all heard it. There have also been times where my children would be playing with a toy, and if they put it beside them, look away, and look back it would have dissapeared. I’ve also experinced that. But this spirit is like a mother. She has a very gentle vibe, and she causes no harm to our household.
GR is a great place to ghost hunt!

I have been in the ghost hunting proffesion for over 11 years, and I have found this particular site in Grand Rapids to have the most frequent visits than any other place I have been in the states. The ghost used to be gentle but since the theatre was torn down the ghosts seems to be more disturbed. Use caution and please be respectful if you happen to come across the spirit of the man or the dog.

How is the dog a ghost when it doesn’t say he died???
That makes the story kinda seems untrue.

I was interviewed by Gary Eberle some 30 years ago about a house that we lived in Heritage Hill. Gary did all of the research and he an excellent researcher!
Gary found out that there was a family who had suddenly died. Our experiences were such that we could sense 4 family members. A dominant male, dominant female and two children. We had some really wild stuff that kept happening and we had no real explanation. Eventually, we chose to move quickly!
It all started when my parents and I found the door that led to the third floor. We o0pened it and when the door was opened a very cold chill went right up my spine. Weeks later, stuff began to happen. Swing doors would open and close on their own. Spirits would walk through walls, we had a pup that was thrown down the front stairway! Levitations would occur with small objects.
In the summer, the temps would be so cold that you could sleep with 4 quilts and still be cold! The outside temp might be in the ’80’s outside! We had constant feelings of being watched.
Because of our experiences with this house, I eventually became a paranormal researcher and a medium.

the story is very true the guy was a very good friend of mine , I worked at the theater and I would allow him his dog allthough our policy at the time was no pets.
I,ve never told this story efore , but when the poor fellow died I took his dog home and the dog was soo sad like it had no more ambition to live , it even tried to turn on me several times , so I had no choice but to poison his food , the dog became unconcious but it didnt die so I put it in a sack and put stones inside and I threw him in the river.
when I came back home that night there was a dark figure sitting on my front porch with a dog that looked identical , twin to the one I had just put in the river. as I approched they just vanished.
Ive never said a thing and I wish to stay anonymous.
believe what you may ,I tell just stay away from the story.

Geeze Joeab Wilson, if you did those cruel things to a poor animal you deserve to be haunted. Ever hear of going to a vet and having the poor thing euthanized? Hope the ghost dog bites you in the butt!

Well this one don’t seem real and I don’t think it is real for reasons. One is because it has a error in it.Blah who post something that is going to be read by millions of people with a error in it.Besides this is not in the lest scary.I’ve seen scarier things on a playground.

Okay so I have done some Ghost hunting. Just the past couple weeks. I went to the Grandville Cemetery and I went to Mt. Calvary Cemetery( to see the “glowing nun” and I drove to Rockford( there was a boy on the dam suppossedly and then 2 girls in the woods there). I went on a Friday night to the Grandville. I grew up near that cemetery and always was a bit apprehensive so I bucked up and my friend went with me. Nothing happened there, we took photos but our negatives were blank, except for 2. It’s what happened in the following days that is freaky. I had a dream in which someone told me I had a presence following me and I woke up with a start and it felt like I had been screaming, my throat was sore. That nite I felt weird so I blessed my walls, prayed ( I am of Christian faith ) and I laid in my bed. It felt like there was a heaviness on me, not pushing but constant pressure. I couldn’t think of a bible verse to save my life so I sang bible songs like Jesus Loves Me and what not. My bed quivered, like not a shake persay but like it had a chill, quiver is the only way I can discribe it….. I prayed louder and it ceased. I was told by a friend of mine that was a warning??? I have always been fascinated by the paranormal, I dont know that I am sensitive to it but it’s something. Does anyone have thoughts on this at all>>> Feel free to E-mail me at Scubablue8963@aol.com
