Real Haunted House

Woodrow Wilson House

District of Columbia, United States
By Lisa

President Woodrow Wilson lived in this house in D.C. after his second term in office.  He died in this house, on the third floor in 1924 and several years later his wife died in 1961.  After her death, the house was willed to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  The house can currently be toured and many visitors and staff members have reported seeing the President’s ghost in his rocking chair, along with the sounds of a man with a cane walking.
